Me and a friend enjoyed a true spa retreat at The Oitavos back in the end of March. We spent 2 nights and 3 days there, and we barely left the place! The furthest we went was down the beautiful gardens set within the sand dunes, overlooking the ocean. The reason for this is that once you arrive at The Oitavos, you find it hard to leave. The staff are so attentive and genuinely nice, every one makes you feel so welcome. The rooms so amazingly spacious and comfortable, the food delicious, the spa treatments totally 5 stars. Our therapists, Cláudia and Leila, were not only the sweetest therapists I ever met but also tremendous professionals. I had an Express Massage (deep tissue) and a Lymphatic Drainage Massage and really enjoyed both, though I feel the Express Massage went that extra mile, the best one I have had so far. And it's not every day that you can sit in the sauna or steam room admiring beautiful landscape! I will be definitely returning.
