Without doubt the best hotel and spa that I have visited in the world. Stroll through the doors and forget that you are in rainy-and-cold Scotland...for you have arrived in the lap of lucious luxury. OK there are bus loads of people wearing juicy couture tracksuits arriving from nearby towns for tea at the weekend, but somehow you won't notice. Hot foot it to the spa during the day, it really is incredible. The staff are amazingly nice and talented at what they do. After one massage I was sent into a coma for two hours...utter bliss. The pool is lovely, papaya rainshowers divine, heated beds delicious, relaxation area [where i went into a coma] just brilliant. I wish i had booked more treatments because I just didn't want to leave.
The rooms in the hotel are very comfortable, we have twice stayed in their "estate" rooms, both in the new and old areas of the hotel and found them to be of equal quality...but as nice as the rooms are let yourself be drawn downstairs to the bar and restaurants. If you aren't in the mood for a full on restaurant meal after you have been buffed and pummelled in the spa, then grab a table in the bar, enjoy the live music, people watch a bit and order the gleneagles burger with fois gras, it is quite sublime. If you do find yourself venturing the one of the restaurants that you are in for a treat - the menu, service and meal are incredible.
Gleneagles is an incredible hotel, you can't stereotype the guests, they come in all forms, but you can it. The service is beyond marvellous, the spa - probably the best I have been to in the world, food, everything you could wish for and more. all in all it is an elegant machine that has worked out the recipe for success and stuck to it.

I was at Gleneagles the begining of the year for ESPA training we had a wee nosey at the spa and I knew I wanted to go at some point for a spa day..... only a few weeks later I managed to get a great deal so me and a friend from work went along. Our treatments includes a foot ritual and an ESPA back, face and scalp treatment. Lovely drive up just harder driving home soo relaxed lol I love the wey ESPA has designed the spa at gleneagles and as soon as you walk thro the door you can tell its an ESPA spa. The changing area is great. and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa heat experiences as well as visiting the leisure pool and outdoor pool was fantastic especially as there as snow on the ground. the treatment was very good and the treatment rooms are lovely too. Lunch at Deseo was lovely but had trouble desivering the menu lol not used to fine dinning!! The whole day was a great experience, we were there from first thing and we left just before we'd got kicked out ( as was prob nearly closing time)..... I will defo go back :)

The new spa at Gleneagles is incredible! the pool, sauna and sauna area look amazing are impecably looked after and offer a fantastic pre-treatment experience. The relaxation room ticked all the boxes with individual beds, headphone, lights and curtains making it a truly calming experience. The massage itself was wonderful. The soothing oil smelt great and the therapist was sweet and professional - i emerged feeling completely relaxed after one of the best massages ever! The changing rooms are also great with amazing showers! if only i could afford to have more treatments!
