The spa is located in the picturesque 18th-century stable block, which captures the essence of the estate’s historical past. The Grade II–listed stables still feature the original arched gateway, gabled roof and bell turret, and offer magnificent views over the Hotel's 200 hectares (500 acres) of rolling hills and parkland. Accessible via a glass walkway connected to the east wing of the Hotel, the spa is an oasis of relaxation, offering an unparalleled selection of bespoke treatments and heat experiences. Guided by a philosophy of holistic well-being, the spa uses ESPA aromatherapy products made from the highest quality plant extracts and marine actives. Therapies are carried out in one of 15 treatment rooms, and signature treatments take influence from the Hampshire countryside, where lavender, rosemary, mint and sage grow in abundance. Relax before or after your treatment in Santé, the spa's café. It serves fresh, healthy options all day, complemented by a wide selection of herbal teas, coffee, power drinks and juices.

They advertise their wraps as a 'life-changing experience'... well, I'm not sure I'd go quite that far, but it was certainly great!
The spa itself was large, clean and included great changing rooms with showering and steam facilities for after the treatment, while the treatment rooms were spacious, well lit and very calming.
I went for a mud envelopment wrap, which was apparently a standard ESPA one and which involved being entirely covered in mud and wrapped up in plastic (nicer than it sounds and actually quite snug), then getting a head massage and some time to relax before cleansing. While it is a full body wrap it would be fine for the more body-conscious, as the therapist did a very complicated towel-covering process (for me, actually a little too complicated, I started to feel like she was trying desperately to avoid the sight of me) to avoid any discomfort.
Thoroughly recommended. Small note- I went as part of a group, and we all chose one treatment - overall the happiest were the ones who went for a wrap or a facial, while the massage/manicure bunch were happy but not as excited as the rest of us. All of us agreed though that the spa itself was great!
