The soma centre is a god send. I wouldn’t call it luxury and it could do with quite a bit of a clean or replacement of tiles and there is plenty of staff and one should be employed to clean the changing rooms every 30 to 60 minutes. There is no contract and you can pay as you go and the price includes sauna, steam, classes, water, towel and use of shower. It’s the ideal place to go to in a central location at an affordable price. The staff are friendly and polite too in my experience. Well done soma.

I would have written an OK review if their staff hadn't been rude to my friend. We booked a 2.5 hour session for their "signature detox" treatment package and paid in full, but we got stuck in the traffic, so were 20 minutes for the appointment. To my surprise instead of having the full service they arbitrarily decided to cancel the most essential part of the package, WITHOUT NOTIFYING US, GIVING ANY REFUND or reschedule. Arguing was in vain as they basically said we would charge you whether or not you took the delivery. The manager argued with us all along quite a few days after. This is the most terrible service I ever met in London spas and for this alone I will suggest you to avoid using their service. Full stop.

I have had Sports Massage treatment from Rhiannon on a number of occasions and, as a sports massage therapist myself, can tell you that she is excellent. She will go as deeply (or not) as you wish and will make the experience just what you have asked for. Excellent therapist.

I cannot comment on the venue as I saw her before she was at The Soma Centre.

Went to the Soma Centre as a friend of mine recommended their Pilates and Yoga classes. Some of the teachers also teach at the Life Centre (Notting Hill) but luckily this venue is less crowded than the Life Centre. Soma offers good value for money packages (eg. buy 10 classes) and no membership required which is welcomed in London where most places are membership only (or if they are not they tend to get a little crowded, e.g. The Life Centre). Nice clean changing rooms and I am told a nice sauna area.

I just returned tonight from the spa package with the Royal Garden Hotel, I cannot rate this place enought at £270 it was an absolute steal, and I have come back so refreshed and chilled out. I have decided if I take a packed lunch to work for the next month, I will save enough money and be able to return monthly for a swedish massage, I cannot wait for my next trip, if you are looking for something really good for xmas, have a look at this package, you will not be disappointed = Enjoy x
