The receptionist was incredibly unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. Yet she was smiles and laughs with a gentleman that came in after me. She gave me the 3rd degree about my not having a printed Groupon voucher and made my initial experience very unpleasant. I have since found out that ALL first sessions are in fact completely free and the fact that I paid for mine is a complete con.

I have since received 2 grovelling letters from Groupon offering a 2nd session. Lol don't trust all Groupon offers. Always check with the company first and research their costs etc. before you pay for anything. It turns out that Groupon and some of the companies they produce offers with are in fact charging for what are otherwise free goods or cheaper ones direct or from other outlets, this is now the 3rd in 2 weeks that I've spotted.

As for the therapy itself, as an avid therapy fan, I was a little disappointed. I have had a more healing experience on a sunny day at the beach and have felt more from my personal negative ioniser and oxygen cans. The atmosphere is dry and static and not humid like natural mines. I am in no doubt that all the miracle cure stories, particularly the ones from people who have had 1 or 2 visits can't be true. The therapy as I understand it is based on polish miners with long term exposure in salt mines and also war victims hiding, again long term, in salt caves. Pleasant but definitely needs long term financial and time commitment to have any significant effect imo. Cheaper to take day trips to the seaside and definitely more healing....but all that said...don't take my word for it...try it for yourself but make sure you get your free session, don't be a sucker like me and pay for the free session lol! And don't take any crap from the staff.

My nasal tubes were blocked up prior to visiting here but flowed freely after the visit. It's a place to simply lie down and completely switch off for an hour or more. A surreal all white experience. Discount was offered for a follow up multiple visit package - a pricey luxury otherwise.

The Salt Cave is a very calm peaceful environment. Lots of people having treatments for a Sunday afternoon. Had a special offer through Wahanda. Would like to book some more sessions in order to treat my ailment. Will take some time before I know if treatment will work.

This is such a great place, nothing at all negative to say. We both felt the benefits, far less conjested generally! And just a wonderful way of shutting out the world!

What a treat - it's not often you get the excuse to sit quietly in a room, read a book and not feel guilty! The venue is easy to find and very central - modern and clean inside. I was so relaxed that I feel asleep during my session! My friend who suffers from eczema said the treatment really benefitted her and I came out feeling like my lungs had increased in capacity by 20% so would definitely recommend for asthma sufferers. Fab treatment, great venue, superb price.

This is such an amazing find, the experience so relaxing and just to close the outside world off is such a bonus. No phone allowed either! The treatment to me is immediately apparent.....much clearing of tubes!

My appointment was after the snow day we had, and so when I arrived I discovered I was the only one to make it in that morning and therefore had the room to myself! It was a lovely peaceful environment to be in for an hour, and I did feel very relaxed by the end of it. The room has about 8 chairs, so I'm not sure what the experience would be like if it was full. I didn't feel any different from breathing in the salt for an hour, but I think you need more than one session to recognise the benefits. Overall, a relaxing way to start the weekend!

Venue is very easy to find from the train station, less than 5 min walk. Staff are friendly and facilities very clean. Its unusual experience and it’s hard to judge from one visit, but after sitting there for one hour I field very relaxed and calm. I went there as had previous problems with sinusitis and seems works even after first session. I recommend visiting at list 5 times to get some more results .

nice ambience! the staff was nice and welcoming. the entire room, floor and walls covered in salt plus a regulated temperature to maximise inhalation and give you the most relaxing 1hr of your life is a wonderful spa concept. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I had the salt cave to myself on this visit. You get to sit in a comfortable lounger and there's lots of magazines to read. I got tired after a while and dozed off a little. It's hard to tell if it has had any effect after one session but I anyway came out very relaxed and pleasantly tired.
