I have been enjoying facials at Remedie Rooms for more than five years now and every time I wish I could go more often than I do. I leave feeling relaxed and my face always feels and looks much healthier. The girls are always friendly and helpful and I personally feel that their customer care is very good.
I have been to Remedie Rooms twice in past 6 months. Firstly to get my facial done before my holidays and secondly to have my legs waxed (full leg plus bikini line). On both occasions I was treated with care and attention. My face was properly mapped before the facial treatment and I was very pleased with the result. Not to mention a lovely back massage followed by the hot mud wrap added to the treatment. I felt relaxed and pampered. As for the waxing it was done quickly, was almost painless and with very clean finish. Even though my therapist had a quite strong French accent she really tried to chat with me to take a focus off what she was doing, which was nice. Being a foreigner myself I noticed that people found my inability to express myself freely as a form of rudeness, as a lot of things I’d like to say are getting lost in translation.
My husband and I have been to the Remedie Rooms several times before and always found it to be a well run local business. I try to support local businesses so booked a treatment. I had feedback from my booking that they we concerned I would potentially no -show. I understand that small businesses need to keep a tight slot and dont want to waste a booking. Believe me I understand that. However, the manner of communication was rude and inappropriate.
I followed up to say that i felt they needed to adjust their tone and have been involved in a ping pong email exchange where it has been made abundantly clear to me that this business has NO customer focus, and a poor understanding of customer service and they will not acknowledge that their tone was inappropriate.
Love this place!
Bikini waxing is not the most dignified of treatments and the therapist was friendly, professional and quick!
I was running late but they were able to accommodate me.
