I am a keen Life Centre "yogi" - excellent teachers plus offer a wide range of classes, has something for the absolute beginner to the more advanced Hatha/Ashtanga yogi. The only downside is that popular classes get extremely crowded and it seems that they do not limit the number of people that can attend a class. Pressure has come off a little since TLC opened a second studio in the loft (although its too small!). Also offer some great massages / reflexology / homeopathy etc.
A MUST "one stop shop" for any mum-to-be; Tara Lee (famour for her pre natal yoga DVD) teaches the BEST ever pre natal yoga class, there are also some fun mummy and baby classes, baby massage etc. Recently also started activities for children/families which look fun, although I have not tried these yet (ex. cooking class for under 5's, painting etc).
Prefer TLC to for ex. Triyoga and some of the other larger yoga centres in central London, but again I guess the downside of this more intimate atmosphere is that it can sometimes become a little crowded. No longer the hidden gem of London for yogis but definitely a GEM! No membership required. Would be fun if they could open a cafe like Triyoga in Primrose Hill, but again I presume they are limited due to space.
