The Lendava Health Spa is located at the foot of the Lendava wine-growing hills, at a point where the borders of Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia meet and where three different nationalities live together in harmony. The picturesque Lendava wine-growing hills with more than 4000 vineyards are a tourist attraction, so near to the Lendava Health Spa that we could almost think they are a part of it.

The beginnings of the Lendava health spa are slightly unusual, as is our unique and special fossil hyperthermal mineral water with healing effects. The water was discovered by chance in 1965 during oil drilling operations in the village of Petišovci. It was big disappointment. Instead of finding the longed-for oil, it was the hot water that came to the surface. In time the local residents discovered that bathing in this water soothes their pains, brought about by their age. The results of the physical and chemical analysis of the water showed that it is fossil water, namely sodium hydrogen carbonate hyperthermal water with 62°C.

The healing water of the Lendava Health Spa, rich in paraffin, is the basis for medical treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, recreation and relaxation. Besides balneotherapy, there are also other forms of modern physical and rehabilitation medicine, carried out by an experienced medical team lead by a specialist doctor – physiatrist.

The guests do not come to the Lendava Health Spa for their medical treatment only but also to get some rest and recharge their batteries. There are 1849 m2 of water surface at their disposal (a winter/summer pool, indoor pool, the »grozd« thermal pool, Olympic pool with slides and a children's pool). New indoor pools were built at the end of 2004. They comprise a recreational pool with various water effects, fast river, massage nozzles, a geyser, a waterfall and a children's pool.

A variety of sports activities are offered to our active guests – tennis, beach volleyball, organized cycling trips with the possibility of bicycle rental. Our hotel guests can also work out in the hotel fitness studio or enjoy themselves in our sauna centre with four different saunas. They can take part in the organized physical exercises as well.
