Me and my girlfriend went for valentines and we were treated like royalty.
Amazing time, we got upgraded to the Executive suite. By far the best hotel in london i have been to.
Great service all round, from the reception to the restaurants and the health spa, everything was brilliant. Little on the expensive side but worth it!

Would defo recommend staying here. very special place.

Great venue - have been here before and decide to go for a facial because I am such a man. Surprisingly relaxing, therapist was very nice and talked through what she was doing. Not sure if my skin is any better for it but a good experience overall.

One Aldwych is an amazing hotel - the lobby is superb and I was tempted to have a cocktail or ten before my treatment. However I'm sure you can't get massaged drunk so had to leave that for another time. Went downstairs into the Spa and was greeted by friendly staff who agreed to give me credit for next time on my Wahanda voucher given it was for £150 and the treatment was £75. The spa is really plush - with an amazing gym and this ridiculously pimping swimming pool with a waterfall (which you can use). You get the usual robe and flip flops and then pop into a room for the massage. Good music and ambience - the lady was very good; possibly not hard enough on 'pounding the knots' but very relaxing and good products used. Shower and changing facilities are also excellent. Definitely will go again. Recommended.

I have just had my first ever NaturaBisse facial (the Luminous C Treatment) and it was gorgeous. I liked the fact the products were light and not overly fragranced. The treatment was so relaxing that I totally forgot I was in central London and I was barely awake by the end of it. After just one hour, the dark circles around my eyes had lightened and my whole face was glowing. The following day my skin still looked refreshed and relaxed. If you have 60 minutes to spare and you need a pick-me-up, I would highly recommend a NaturaBisse facial at One Aldwych – it could just be the answer!

WOW...
I'm someone who prefers giving massages to having them, but the Hot Stone Treatment at One Aldwych may have changed my opinion completely.

The Spa is located in the basement of the hotel and is very discreet. The decor is minimalist and there are only 3 treatments rooms so it felt very intimate. I was given a robe and slippers to change into and met by my therapist Lauren and shown to the treatment room. After choosing which oil I preferred the smell of the massage began. Lauren placed a hot stone in the small of my lower back and went to work on each leg individually, first massaging in the oil and then with another hot stone firmly massaging up and down. The smoothness of the stone's surface and the heat felt absolutely amazing. Apparently the heat from the stone helps to relax the muscle therefore making it more malleable and easier to work with. Lauren worked on every bit of my body apart from the stomach and chest. Her movements were fluid, gentle and firm, it almost felt like a dance. When she came to my neck two smaller stones were used either side and on my face she used cold stones, designed to reduce puffiness or swelling.
After the treatment finished I felt like I was floating and felt a sense of all over well being. My skin was incredibly soft and I smelt amazing.

If you are looking for a deep tissue massage this is not for you, but if you want a massage that will relax and comfort you I urge you to try the Hot Stone Massage. As expected the price of the treatment is at the high end of the scale but personally I'd happily pay that and am fully intending to go back for another and perhaps a facial too!

On a further note the music was spot on. Very cool chill out music, which was a bonus. My therapist Lauren was wonderful and she gave me some Natura Bisse facial samples to try at home before I left.

The only slight criticism I'd mention would be the lack of signs directing you to the Spa. As you walk in the entrance you have to walk to the right and round to the far side of the lifts, then down the stairway towards The Health Club.
