Went to the spa as part of a birthday treat. I had a caviar facial which was great, only let done that there was building work happening outside which i was made aware of in advance but even with the treatment taking place in one of the lovely bedroom i could since here the noise - such a shame.
I also had afternoon as part of the deal, which again was lovely but at first the service was very slow, basically had to inform one of the staff that i had not been served and i felt a bit out of place being there on my own.
Overall, i would go there again but with someone and hopefully when there is no building work going on.

I went to the dorchester for afternoon tea for my friends birthday and had a lovely time, we all agreed that it was worth the money and that we would definately return.

My husband surprised me for my birthday by treating me to a wonderful Signature massage. The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very friendly and my therapist (think her name was Kerrie) was excellent. My husband waited for me and was given drinks etc and also made to feel special. The whole place is spotless, the whole thing was so relaxing. A perfect birthday present.

Had a great deep tissue massage here after a hard training session across the road in Hyde Park, loved it, definitely recommend.

My wife treated me to a thai yoga massage at the Dorchester and I loved it. I had last been to the spa before the renovation and was really impressed with what they had done. There are part of it that are over done for my personal taste but the ambience is fabulous and the facilities are really good. Most importantly, the treatments are excellent. If you are looking for a top quality spa in central london this one is really worth considering.
I arrived a bit early and made use of the steam which is fabulous. I had the place to myself and the changing rooms and locker areas are finished to a really high level. Filling in the usual treatment form was mercifully short and the therapist was super friendly. Thai massage is always tricky in london because (since few people have dedicated rooms) you need a treatment room that is big enough to push aside the massage table and lay the massage mats on the ground. It also means that since you are on the ground, the room needs to be pretty spotless. In both cases the Dorchester has done a really good job. The room is spacious, clean and airy -- I felt really comfortable.
The therapist was excellent. Thai Yoga Massage is necessarily physical as the therapist stretches you and massages you. It takes a therapist who is fairly strong and knows how to manipulate your body -- She Elisabeth did a great job.
After the massage I hung out in the chill-out room which is big, and feels more like a lounge which I really liked. The fresh lychee juice was a really nice touch.
Its not cheap but I would definitely go back to the Dorchester Spa. The facilities are excellent, the treatments are top quality and not at all crowded. Its a real little urban escape.

Hi Lopo, can you give me an idea of prices please? thanks
The Dorchester spa has now become my new favorite place! The spa is absolutely fantastic, with the most wonderful treatments, great staff & therapists, spacious treatment rooms & relaxation area, and an absolutely wonderful steam room which you can use before & after your treatment. The slight downside, is that it is quite pricey, but definitely worth every penny !

Through this fabulous website I won a Rose Ritual Spa Treatment at this very beautiful Spa!
I arrived early and took full advantage of the gym and Spa pool! The gym was small but I had it all to myself and it had everything I wanted to use so was ideal. Each treadmill had its own TV and I was leant a pair of headphones as I'd neglected to bring any and subsequently watched Countdown whilst having a gentle jog.
After my strenuous gym routine, I relaxed in the Spa pool which was small (but again as I had it all to myself it didnt matter), it was located next to the showers which was a bit weird as people were coming out of treatments into the shower and I was sat in the spa trying to relax.
I was haded my paper knickers and headed in for my treatment. Phyllis talked me through my treatment and began with scrubbing me with some sort of rose/rice/sugar combo which was completely fabulous. I then went for a shower (no one was in the Spa pool!) and was treated to jets hitting me from all angles. Once the rice was out of every crevice I returned for a fabulous rose ritual massage which was wonderful, I know this because I kept waking myself up with some loud snoring! I was then covered in towels and Phyllis began my facial and put a face mask on. 15 minutes later she returned, woke me up (again!) and took the mask off, followed by appling some yummy rose face creams. Lovely Phyllis then began my head massage, only to be rudely interrupted by her mobile phone ringing, damn technology! Phyllis was very apologetic but unfortunalety for me that was an abrupt end to my head massage, nevermind I still had cake to come. I got my robe back on and headed back out into the waiting area where a lovely glass of champagne and a delicious little cake were waiting for me, heavenly!
The layout was a bit like a maze but that's all due to change during the forthcoming refurbishmanet. The whole place was very grand and luxurious, I was like a kid in a sweet shop, WOW! I had the most marvelous evening there and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone that has a spare £250!! Thank you Wahanda xx

I recently visited the Dorchester Spa and had the Rose Treatment, which involves a full-body exfoliation, massage, and a facial. Overall, this was the best spa experience I've had in London. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and the overall quality of the experience was impeccable. My aesthetician was very friendly and professional. Due to work stress, I've been having shoulder pains and tension headaches - when I told her this, she tailored the massage to focus on my shoulders and scalp, and I've been headache-free since! Also, the facial was excellent - my skin is always very dry, and I've noticed a marked improvement since the treatment.
Overall, the experience was excellent. The one area that I feel could be improved on was the actual facilities themselves - while very clean and luxurious, the place is a complete maze and I got lost (twice!) on the way to the locker room. In addition, the waiting area is the same area that they seat you in after the treatment for the complimentary glass of champagne, which is not ideal, as it was very noisy. However, my aesthetician informed me that the spa is currently starting renovations and that the facilities will be laid out in a more straightforward manner, and that there will be separate waiting and relaxtion areas. I think that once these changes are made, the Dorchester Spa will be as close to perfect as a spa can get!

I am looking forward to seeing this spa when they complete the renovations. Its good now but its going to be amazing then.
The space is too old and needs a change to a fresh, clean and modern design. It just feels stodgy and not up to date and as luxurious as it should. I hear there will be a renovation soon and am looking forward to returning.
The best treatment was the Eve Lom facial. A MUST!

I received a gift certificate for my birthday for the Eve Lom facial. The products are lovely and the procedure itself was very nice and as expected.
The waiting area although nice leads not only into the treatment rooms but also abuts the gym which at this particular time had an aerobics class (probably something else as I don't think aerobics have existed since the 90s) which was rather noisy. Upon completion of my facial, I returned to the desk to retrieve my valuables, as they recommend if not insist you put them in their safe, and had to wait nearly 20 minutes before someone showed up at all to help me. Granted it was rather late in the evening, but I would have expected better service from an establishment such as the Dorchester.
