The Dorchester Spa has reopened after a complete transformation bringing an exclusive new pampering destination to London. Exuding 1930s Art Deco glamour combined with a contemporary edge, design is inspired by the iconic British style of The Dorchester. Unique aspects include a chandelier of south-pacific pearls and an indulgent Spatisserie. Signature facials are by internationally renowned Vaishaly and new discovery Carol Joy London, whilst treatments are offered by European skincare brand Kerstin Florian for the first time in London alongside acclaimed British brand, Aromatherapy Associates. The spa also features nine spacious and sound-proof treatment rooms including two double suites, a mani-pedi suite and sleek relaxation room.
In the prestigious 2008 Condé Nast Traveller Spa Awards, The Spa was named as the 3rd best UK Day Spa with a special commendation for the service and staff.
I also had afternoon as part of the deal, which again was lovely but at first the service was very slow, basically had to inform one of the staff that i had not been served and i felt a bit out of place being there on my own.
Overall, i would go there again but with someone and hopefully when there is no building work going on.
