I had a 45 mins Swedish Massage for £40. The ambience feels cheap and the treatment very poor. It took place in the basement, in a cold small room light only by a magnifying lamp turned against the wall for "the ambiance". The "therapist" did not speak English and it felt she had no inexperienced.
I would say that the time spend vs money is good, but now days you can find all sort of deals for better value.
I would suggest to do a discount price if therapist is inexperienced, and please modernize that basement!

Having had a really bad waxing experience (very poor results, lots of ingrown hairs, rude beautician, etc etc etc...) at another salon, the Covent Garden Salon was recommended to me by a friend. Determined not to let one bad experience put me off, I decided to persevere and booked an appointment.

As soon as I arrived (nearly half an hour early for my appointment) I was greeted by friendly staff, who made me feel very welcome and gave me a cup of tea while I was waiting. At the appointed time I was taken downstairs by Cara, to a lovely airy treatment room with nice ambient music. I told her about my previous bad experience, and she was very reassuring and friendly, and filled me in on what should have happened! She has 14 years of experience, which really showed, and she worked very quickly and efficiently, all the while maintaining friendly chat.

Without going into too many gory details, she used a combination of hot wax and strip wax to get amazing results, and was very thorough, even taking the time to tweeze out a few reluctant stray hairs. It wasn't even too painful...amazing!

I will be going back, and recommending to all my friends. Gold star, Covent Garden Salon!

The Covent Garden Salon is very close to the Covent Garden Salon tube, which makes it so convenient for busy people like me who like a one-stop shop for my hair and beauty needs. I can go out to drink or to eat with my friends straight after, which is a huge bonus for me too, although the salon does offer great tasting white wine and beer. Most importantly the Stylists and Beauty Therapists here are THE BEST I have ever had in my LIFE!!! They are very friendly, easy-to-talk-to AND humble. I really look forward to going back for my regular appointments and I keep trying new things with them like facials, massages and Bio-sculpture nails that don’t chip. My boyfriend has had massages and waxing too. I would recommend it to anyone.
