Write A ReviewI saw Dr Donald Gibb who was punctual but frantically rushing around which made me feel stressed and like my appointment was inconveniencing him. During my consultation his mobile phone rang THREE times, all of which he answered abruptly stopping my treatment to discuss the case of another patient he was treating. I found his beside manner appalling and when I asked a question he replied by saying the answer would cost me additional money! Unbelievable! I left feeling very upset and bewildered by handing over hundreds of pounds for such bad treatment. Very unprofessional, uncaring and money grabbing.

Due to Ivf treatment and pregnancy with twins I was told to have scans weekly until 12 weeks. I found scans with my fertility clinic slightly rushed and not very detailed so i took the advise of some of fertility friends who recommended birth company. Since they could accommodate me on Saturdays which meant i can continue to go to work I picked up the phone and booked and appointment with them.
I found the whole experience very enjoyable, on all the appointments they took their time to examine my babies, the ultrasound was very good quality and listening to babies heart beat nearly made me cry.
I had appointment with sonographer and dr Gibbs and I found both of them very professional and caring
And let's not forget the receptionist who always greeted us with a smile.
I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that wants high quality scans and reassurance about their babies.

The Birth Company is fantastic, from the minute I walked in with my husband we was looked after professionally and my appointment was bang on time so there was no waiting around.
With this being our first pregnancy we was a little nervous and did not know what to expect regarding the scan, Dr Chrissie Yu was brilliant, she put us at ease, explained everything we was looking at on the scan in detail, took time to answer any questions we had (we had a lot of questions!).
I felt so comfortable with her and the clinic that I have gone on to book a full package with Dr Yu so that I will be looked after throughout my whole pregnancy at The Birth Clinic and I have chosen to be delivered at London Portland Street Hospital by Dr Yu. Packages at The Birth Clinic start at £6,500 and Portland Street Hospital fees start at £4000 depending on what birth you choose (natural or c - section) - I highly recommend this clinic and would not go anywhere else.

When I found out I was pregnant one of the things I could not wait to do was my 4D scan to see my little ones face, I've always been told that its one of the most amazing experiences in pregnancy....
I booked my 4D scan with The Birth Company as they they were one of the top rated online and so well spoken of. My app was on the 17th of July 2010 and we could not wait. Excited we went on Saturday trying to think who our little boy will look most like.
I booked Dr Gibb do my 4D as he is one of the best so I've read.... We went in and got started and unfortunately baby wasnt facing the right way and my placenta was right above his face, so I was asked to go for a walk up and down stairs to see if baby will move after 15 min or so of walking up and down stairs he called me back in and still we could see nothing as now he has turned completely around and by which point I felt Dr Gibb to become a bit impatient.
Anyway to make a long story short... We walked away from the scan empty handed and still got charged a £160 which is the price of a 2D scan. We booked the package that cost £250. If i wanted a 2D scan I would have booked one. We got a cd with about 5min worth of 2d scan. We were so shocked that we had to pay all that money for absolutely nothing at all and that they didn't offer to re-book me for a later time as I already had to pay a £50 deposit prior to our visit.
What should have been an enjoyable experience turned out to be a huge disappointment for me and my Husband
Will I ever go back to The Birth Company NO!!!!!!!! Never.
