Write A ReviewBooked this spa day as a present for my mum's 50th birthday. On arrival the staff were lovely and very welcoming. They made us feel at ease about the day as neither of us had been on a spa day before. The treatments were great, we both had a hot stone massage and a facial. The only downside to the facility is that you have to walk through the gym in your robe and into the lift to go to the treatment room which was a bit embarrassing, especially as there were hotel guests using the lifts etc. Both me and my Mum felt abit stupid! I would recommend you take your own robe as they only supply large ones and at 5 foot 2, it absolutely buried me!! All in all, we both enjoyed the day.

I had eyelash extensions done by Fiona and I couldn't recommend her or them highly enough. I was given exactly what I asked for (natural look) and they looked great, when I went back for infills Fiona spent a lot longer than the designated 30 mins on them too.
The place is laid back yet professional, when I was told by the carpark manager that I would have to park in the (expensive) airport car park rather than the hotel carpark (which is free when visiting the salon), Fiona came out and arranged that I just park right outside the hotel.
The staff couldn't be friendlier either.

Upon arrival we were given a drink of wine, orange juice which was lovely.
We relaxed by the pool and made use of the steam room, the sauna was not working.
The two therapists came to collect my friend and I. We were told there was a delay of ten minutes so I went ahead whilst my friend waited. My treatment was lovely the therapist did not explain the procedure as I had, had the same facial for a birthday treat earlier in the year.I really enjoyed the facial, room was comfortable and the music relaxing.Upon returning to the changing room and waiting for 40 minutes my friend came back, not happy. Although she had been given two nail varnishes as a sorry gift for the wait. I became anxious as i had an appointment at a local salon for nails etc for my holiday the following Monday. We were then told we had to go to another floor to get our car park ticket validated. The lovely relaxing did not end on a relaxing note as my friend was anxious that I was on a time scale and waiting in a queue to validate the car park tickets was a pain. I will go back so don't let my grumbles put your off.

Lovely Hydradermie treatment done, nice long and relaxing facial. The massage rollers on face felt very calming and comforting. The therapist was lovely, friendly and gave me advice for products for my skin afterwards. Facilities were a little bit less grant then expected,,,pool was small and looked a bit old...but sauna and steamroom nice...overall a lovely experience. Would return!

It was lovely to be greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival and the staff were really nice. I thought the goodie bag was a bit large for the small sample you got inside, but it was a nice touch. I expected that I would be at the event for a couple of hours, but when I went inside I was disapointed that there were only a few stands which I managed to get round in about half an hour. I would have liked to have my nails painted but there was a lot of ladies queing and nothing really to keep you entertained whilst you waited.

The spa event was good with a range of demos and mini treatments on offer. the drinks and food was a plus point. however, there were long queues for the mini treatments which included manicures and fish pedicures. There was a raffle at the end which everyone was entered into for free and my friend won a spa day at the hotel which was incredible! Overall it was a pretty great freebie event!

It was a great event for free, I wish the focus hadn't been on cosmetic surgery and have had more holistic therapies but I did enjoy the event and the lipsalve I got is really good.
