Within the grounds of Barnsley House the contemporary Garden Spa has been designed to compliment its historic surroundings and to provide a tranquil and calm sanctuary for relaxation. Built using local natural stone the spa features Cotswold Stone floors, dry stone interior walls, floor to ceiling glass and English hardwoods. The relaxation room is furnished with B&B Italian leather Chaise Longues and armchairs. There is also an open fireplace and views across rural Gloucestershire countryside.
Inspired by the classic Rosemary Verey Barnsley House Garden, the Spa Garden, designed by Stephen Woodhams, features a sculpture made from old walling stone, a reflecting pond with waterfalls and stone terraces for relaxation.
The spa has 6 treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, relaxation room and a hydrotherapy pool.
The holistic treatments adapted to personal needs have all been devised to soothe, rebalance and refresh the senses that will leave you feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated in body and soul.

What a beautiful, relaxing, stunning place to spend a few days - and the spa is first class too. I particularly like the outdoor pool - very invigorating and lovely to be in the fresh air. I enjoyed my treatments too, but it was the all the other stuff - beautiful rooms, delicious food, magical gardens, interesting people - that made this so special.
