Re-vamp it might have had but the treatments were not good. The staff are inexperienced and i would have thought for the price the products would be a branded name. Highly over priced for such a dreadful experience. i wouldnt call this a luxury spa by any stretch. But hey try it yourself. Go on waste your money.

I really enjoyed this SPA!
Facilities were amazing and therapists were very kind and professionals.
I went with two friends of mine and we had a really good time: we felt very relaxed and "beautifull"!!

We went for a 2 for 1 deal here which originally gives you three express treatments. Our very friendly manager greeted us and let us know we could extend any of the treatments if we didn't want certain ones - basically that the time was ours and we just had to say what we wanted. That was so refreshing and wonderful it put us in the perfect frame of mind. We both extended our massages to an hour and kept the half hour facial.

The treatments themselves were wonderful, hugely relaxing. We shared a treatment room which was quite nice actually, though I had to apologise in advance in case I fell asleep and snored! The massages weren't too deep but definitely loosened you up and the oil smelled wonderful. She also gave me a great scalp massage which left my hair in a complete mess - but I couldn't have cared less. My facial was thorough and left my skin feeling very clean and smooth.

The ambiance was chilled and comforting, with gold and wood decoration and warm accents throughout. We also had access to their steam room which was particularly nice, and the manager said that as we don't do steam rooms regularly, she would come to get us after 10 minutes. When she did she pressed water on us immediately. It seemed like they cared a lot about your health and comfort, more than just superficially. It was a very refreshing spa visit.

Me and a friend went to the spa not really knowing what to expect...
On arrival we were greated by a very friendly lady who offered us a glass of water or herbal tea...
Once we had filled our forms in, we were asked to get changed ready for our treatment... Slippers, dressing gown and towels all provided...
The treatment was spot on, and very relaxing...
After the treatment we were offered a drink and some dried fruit a nuts which was very nice...
In the changing rooms there was a steam room which is lovely to relax in once your treatment has finished... There were also 2 very powerful shoers with shampoo and body was provided...

All in all, we both throughly enjoyed this experience and are sure to return at a later date...

Would recommend to friends.

I booked the Ultimate Indulgence Pamper Package as a surprise for my partner on Valentine's day.

When we arrived we were offered a drink and had a chat about what we wanted to acheive from the treatments. I liked the fact that you could tailor the package depending on your preferences.
I went for the body scrub and full body massage. I though the treatments were very good but the room that I had the treatments in was quiet small and unimaginative. Also it was a shame that me and my partner couldnt have the treatments in the same room.

Overall I would definately recommend this spa for quality of service and treatments

Baglioni is an impressive 5 star Italian Hotel chain http://www.baglionihotels.com/en

The Spa however did not match up to the luxury of the hotel itself.  To be fair though I have to put this in context.  The hotel has had so many complaints previously about the spa that the hotel did not renew the management of the spa when their contract ended so it was only this week that new management had taken over and the mammoth task of bringing it to order. The new management however were very professional and polite and I could not fault them.

The Spa was small and felt a little claustrophobic, the changing area was tiny with only 4 small lockers, 2 showers and a broken steam room which we wanted to use.  It also needed a lick of paint and a good tidy up.

My therapist was a temp from an agency and decided to tell me that this was not her full time job and that she only done this now and again.  My facial was the basic of basics and my full body massage wasn't that much better.  She was lovely I may add but I expected more in the form of my treatments.  She wasn't very thorough!

They had also recently changed over from using Elemis products to their own branded products.  I expected a hotel chain like the Baglioni to be using branded products such as Dermalogica, Elemis, Decleor ect.

The relaxation area after your treatments was in a small corridor where everyone walked past you, so not very relaxing.  There were only two chairs at the end of a long table where you can nibble on dried bananas and nuts and drink herbal tea and water.

I understand that the whole spa area will be getting a re-haul, but even after the re-haul I don't think I will be venturing back to the Baglioni spa again.

I have been to much better establishments in terms of quality of spa and the quality of therapist.

I went to the Baglioni spa on a busy Saturday. It was a little crowded in the changing area but we really enjoyed our treatments. I thought the package was great value for money. The spa does not have a huge spa facility but you do feel relaxed when you leave and the staff are really nice. We stayed in the resturant after and enjoyed a coffee and the ambiance. I would recommend this package its great value for money.
