I really wanted to like my experience, but i must say that the experience was not memorable, and I am not sure I would go back, or recommend the spa. Spa Romana looks nice enough, but I found the place cold in both atmosphere and temperature.
My treatment was not great - my therapist was quite short, and had small hands and I don't think was really good at a deep tissue massage technique, nor did he have power in her fingers/hands or leverage to give a proper massage. She pushed hard and rubbed my skin, but there is a difference between "hard" and "deep"...she never really got to my muscles, but my skin was rubbed a lot...not great. The best part was when she did my glutes, but it was over the blanket, so maybe she was able to get focused without rubbing/abrading my skin.
I feel really bad because I was really looking forward to it, but at $85+tip (yes, I tipped), i didnt think it was worth it.
