Whenever the time comes to destress myself and get a massage, Spa NK always tops my list.
The first few times I've been there I opted for the Rose Cocoon Massage, where i was luxuriously wrapped up in a heated blanket after being smothered in rose oil and cream. They then slowly unwrap you and give you a full body massage.
In June, I decided to try the Aromatherapy Indulgence massage. Equally as good as The Rose, I was given a choice of oils to be massaged in. When finished, I was so relaxed I could hardly walk - always a good sign of a great massage!

After I had not been back for a year I went to indulge myself in an Eve Lom Facial. Neither the advice on how to overcome dry scin nor the treatment itself felt very SpaceNK like. Why do they leave you for 15min by yourself while you have your masque on? They should spoil you with a head or hand massage. Their therapists used to be spot on but they seem to be unable to find those wonderful people lately. I love the interior and serene atmosphere.

I have visited Spa NK in Notting Hill on a number of occasions and have experienced excellent treatments including the Aromatherapy Associates Rose Body Wrap, the Eve Lom Facial, an aromatherapy massage and a pregnancy massage. I love the whole vist from start to finish as special attention is given to the relaxation area - lovely fresh fruit, water, teablends, great reading material and a relaxing soundtrack - the changing rooms and the treatment rooms. It is somewhere you feel able to while away a few hours and are never in a hurry to leave after your treatment. The therapists I have seen have also always been excellent and very attentive to special needs like injury or pregnancy. And you can goe and buy some lovely products at the SpaceNK store downstairs afterwards!

I used to love Spa NK because of its calm atmosphere and the feeling that time has stopped while you are there to indulge fully. But I needed a few massages over Christmas and New Year and neither my husband nor myself could find a satisfying therapist after a few trials. We were left with the impression that we should move on and except a less beautiful space but with better treatments.

Very nice Spa with a lovely lounge area where you can sip your herbal tea, or flick through magazines in silence while waiting for your treatment. The treatments are fine, but can vary depending on your therapist. And the changing rooms are really beautiful with amazing high pressure showers and beautiful products for your use.
