We spent one night at the hotel. It was definitely the relaxing, quiet time away we needed. Lovely and comfortable room. The hotel is right by the beach, great location.
Sauna/jacuzzi looked a little old and could do with a fresh lick of paint, but still adequate.
We had a 1-hour full body massage, which was good (but have had better), we were then left to relax in the relaxation area, with hot stone under floor heating, which was amazing.

The massage was nice. The leisure facilities are seriously outdated.
The big pool is okay, was pretty noisy since there were lots of kids. There weren't enough chairs (especially since everybody just drops their towel on a chair and never even use it to sit on).
But the jacuzzi is a joke. The rooms is so badly ventilated that after 5 minutes your eyes start to tear because of all the chlorine in the air. The jacuzzi is extremely noisy as well, which you can also hear in the steam and sauna. The paint is peeling off all over the place. Looks very old. The sauna and steam room are small but okay.
Massage was good, leisure facilities are below what you'd expect for a 4 star hotel.
The rest of the hotel was nice, good room but extremely warm, we had to sleep with all windows open because it was so hot, and no, heating was not on. Dinner was nice (very good steak!) but breakfast was a bit average.

The area is nice by by the seafront which we weren't expecting. Excellence hospitality. Friendly and efficient service. We really enjoy it and looking forward to going back again. We wanted to stay and extra night but they were fully book.

Pros: Our rooms were changed to Sea view double room upon arrival which I was very happy about. There local area is very pleasant and there's plenty to do in the hotel aswell as outside as the beach is just a road cross away. The pool, sauna, steam room area is very relaxing and breakfast is buffet style and tasty.
Cons: We were told we would get drinks upon arrival which we requested like 6 times until we gave up. Also rooms were stuffy as there are absolutely no air cons.

Great relaxing location right on the sea front (but no sea view room for us..) Big and comfy hotel with very well equipped spa. Full English breakfast. Great deal through Wahanda!

The hotel was in a great location, with a good selection of bars and resturants in the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were good but too much chlorine in the pool and sauna, suggest you take your goggles. The staff were all attentive and very friendly.

The hotel is located right on the sea front, perfect for a stroll along the pebbles. There isn't much else close-by though, but that didn't matter to us.
The hotel room was perfectly adequate, quite quaint, like a B&B more than a hotel. A decent, comfortable bed, good sized bathroom with lovely bath/shower, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a modern TV.
The hotel spa facilities were very good, if perhaps a bit tired. Parts of the leisure area could have done with a bit of a revamp. That said, the jacuzzi was nice as was the sauna and steam room. The swimming pool was a very good size and mostly empty during our stay.
Sadly, when I tried to book spa treatments, about 2-3 weeks before our arrival, I was told that they were completely booked up, so we didn't get the opportunity to sample the treatments, which was a shame. I can only suggest that you book as far in advance as possible. The menu of treatments available was pretty extensive though and reasonably priced.
During our stay, there was scaffolding up at parts of the rear of the hotel, right outside our window. Whilst it didn't effect us too much, it was a bit of a shame and did impede our view over the green. Nobody had warned us about building works and reception blamed Wahanda for this...
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a welcome break from the city and an opportunity to relax, more than anything.
