I had a 1 hour "Face Aromassage" at this place, which included a 15 min back and shoulder massage followed by a 45 min relaxing aromatic massage for face with products adapted to your own skintype.
I must say that the back and shoulder massage was terrible, instead of massaging my muscles she was sort of massaging my bones, which made the whole experience very painful as you would imagine. Instead of enjoying it all I was more concentrating on moving around (I guess to try to help her out so that she could maby hit one singel muscel instead of a bone) but it never happened. I didn't say anything either, I guess I was in shock over how bad it was!. Anyway, very strange with a therapist who can't even give a basic massage. Thank god it was no longer then 15 min!
The face massage itself, to my surprise, was actually pretty good. She used products from "Carita" which were lovely. At first she deeply cleansed the face and then she did a long relaxing massage with various products from the same range and finished it off with a lot of moisturiser, and I actually noticed a big difference in my skin after that treatment. It also made me forget the first 15 min for a while, so when I walked out I was happy! I probably wouldn't go back though :)

Well, I must say that I was very disappointed. I had the 1hr 30min Deep Energizing Treatment package for Men which included a back and shoulder massage, hand massage and a Decleor Men's facial.
The massage was not great - the therapist (I think her name is Cecille) was just not great at being able to really target specific muscles, pressure points or stress areas. It just felt like she was massaging areas with varying pressure indiscriminately, without really adapting to what my body (or I) was telling her. She also kind of dug in with her fingernails a few times, so I had a few scratches the next day...not great. The hand & arm massage was equally poor and unmemorable, and the head massage really was a waste..she just put oil in my hair and did not really get in their and target any areas. At no point during the massage did she ask if the pressure was OK, or if I wanted any areas targetting. Oh, and I needed to put on some paper underpants which were super uncomfortable!
The facial which included some lovely massaging of my facial (and lymphatic drainage she told me), was just OK. It did not include any extraction which is really something that should be a staple of a facial, I think. Otherwise it was just unspectacular and I don't think I noticed any real difference in my skin after the fact, and when I left the spa, i noticed the therapist did not clean all of the masque so I still had blue gunk on my face...hmmm, not good.
The spa, which is called "Mosaic", has actual tiny mosaic tiles on the floor, which although looks nice, it does create echoes and reflects noise so you are never really able to be shielded from sound in your room...not a great piece of planning by the spa designers I think. There is a hottub, spa & sauna, but I did not use them.
To cap it all off, when I was checking out of the hotel, I saw the spa accidentally double charged me....I know it sounds like I am complaining, but I was completely underwhelmed by this experience. I thought the French knew how to do spas!

sounds like a poor experience overall... I won't be going there! Although I am sure this would have any bearing on your overall impression, I would say that in my experience not all facials include extractions... you really have to ask for one that does. It makes for a much more involved treatment and not everyone likes it so spas don't always provide it as part of their facials. That being said, I really wish they would make it clearer beforehand and in the description of the treatment.
