Lovely venue, spa area clean and well presented.
Changing area far too small
we arrived at 10.00am however were not allowed in the spa area, as an aquacise class was in place until11.15 am, which was dissapointing as our voucher was for all day use.
The hotel had sent a confirmation saying we would be supplied with towels/robe/slippers, however on arrival they said this was not part of the voucher, we had not taken anything with us, so after a discussion they gave us the items, which was rather emmbarrasing

The whole experience was much better than expected. The Hotel, Food and Staff were execptional. 5 Star.
The only 1 issue was the SPA changing room facilities were amazingly small. There were only 4 of us in there and you could not move, and had only 1 small changing room. More thought should be given to that for future stays.
Apart from that I would happily return. The Pool and Jacuzzi were excellent and small Sauna fine.
Would definitely recommend and return.

we had really nice time and recomend it to everyone. the staff was very friendly and hotel facilities were amazing. we spend our day in an active way; in the gym, pool, steam room and jacuzzi. the localisation and views from the hotel were unforgetable. in one word - in was amazing.

I went with a friend just to enjoy the facilities without booking any treatments. As soon as we turned on to the long driveway through the fields towards the front of this stunning hotel, our spirits were lifted. On arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful - offering hot drinks, chilled water and providing fluffy towels. The changing room and the spa area itself was beautiful and very clean. We went on a Thursday and for much of the time had the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and steam room to ourselves. We had a break and enjoyed some coffee and then went back to relax a little bit more before getting dressed and going out to the terrace enjoy more coffee while taking in the glorious views of the countryside. The whole time we were there, we were made to feel like honoured guests and I certainly would recommend Wood Hall Hotel and Spa to anyone.

The spa is small but lovely. If a group went you might have trouble finding a lounger but as a venue for a couple or friends it's lovely. The twenty pound for two deal can't be beaten for a relaxing swim, steam and gym experience. You don't get slippers or robe but you do get towel for this deal although you can upgrade. The hotel is in a fantastic spot and you can sit and have drinks and food if you like in the spa block or main hotel. Food quite expensive but only as you would expect in venue of this type. Cream teas look promising!

Not a good place to go in a group! There were 4 loungers around pool so most people had to sit on the floor! Many of my friends did not go into pool as there was so little room therefore sat in coffee area all day. The water was extremely cold and got colder as the day progressed. In the minute changing room the shower was cold & the door did not shut! I felt this room was very badly planned as we were getting changed next to the exit to the pool.Staff were good but I did think the wine was very over-priced working out at about £50 a bottle as we could only buy it by the glass. All in all a lovely setting but not a spa to visit unless staying at hotel. Wish I had been notified of this before travelling 50 miles!

the therapist gave me some good skin advice and was brilliant at massage and the facial. The creams used were lovely and relaxing.
