I was impressed with almost every aspect of the 'sip n snip' experience. I had the best haircut that I have had in years and will definitely be going back.
The space itself is special and original, the refreshment is innovative and the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional.
What stands above everything else was the staff. UK hairdressers often seem to be either self absorbed or 'too cool' or affected or disinterested or bored. The staff at 'sip n sip' are totally and refreshingly different from your usual UK hairdressers, the are very good at what they do and I am sure that they will be very very successful as a result.

i've never been to a salon that's so filled with hysterical laughter, down-to-earth demeanour and a touch of quirk that is yet homely and welcoming.

i left smiling from ear to ear from the hearty chats and a great cut that was totally my style coz she listened. this i totally appreciated and that appreciation has now turned to trust coz i know i'll look great everytime!

I am now deliberately letting my beard grow for Magda of Snip 'n' Sip to shave the lot off, I've never paid a hairdresser to shave me before, just once I'll get Magda to do it.......a brilliant one-person performance from Magda. So sayeth Alien Dave.

Magda is such talented hairdresser, she has a very good taste and imagination, treats every client individually. I am happy after very single visit at Snip and Sip. Kasia - the colourist is good too, dyed my hair in very nice blueish-black colour. My favourite hair place ever for affordable prices.

Ever since I remember I always disliked my hair: very fair with no life, either in a pony tail or with so much hair products to make it 'look better' that I sometimes wondered how it managed not to fall out completely. That was until I went to Snip and Sip! First the deco made me feel like in my own dream work place, Magda welcomed me with a bright smile and gave me a total make over which I LOVE. The best thing about it all was that I now really like my hair and haven't used any hair products or hairdryer for that matter ever since. Perfectly styled haircut made me feel sooo much better about myself and I've kind of grown in confidence because of that. Magda you're a genius hairdresser and a great person to be around! I'll be seeing you very soon I hope:).

No one in Edinburgh can give you that Real relaxed atmosphere. and an original cut there is only so much you can stomach of corporate B.S.

it a wonderfull change. and a truly friendly hair dresser. in the hart of the city and supper afordable. for anyone. my husband had the best hair cut form Magda and we have not be able to match it since.

This is without a doubt the best salon I've ever been to. On arriving, the awesome retro decor made the place seem really inviting, topped off with a warm welcome from all the lovely staff. I received star treatment from my stylist Miriam, who managed to turn my ginger locks into a blonde Debbie Harry. Magic! And as she worked away I sat back and sipped away at my complimentary Caramel Vodka. Amazing :)
