i had the gylocic facial peel, with the wahanda voucher it was a great deal. The place was medical looking which gave me more comfort on the hygiene and quality. My face was very soft for a few days after the peel!

Opted for the Glycolic Peel which was just okay. There was hardly any strength in the acid so it really didn't do much at all. As someone who has them done regularly, it was a shame they didn't go ahead and do it stronger. I can understand if its your first time - but as a regular (maybe not at their clinic but elsewhere) this didn't do anything. The little bag of goodies after was nice - handy for travel. Not thrilled with the pushing of other treatments. Was okay on the deal, but not worth more than that.

Using my voucher for a glycolic peel, i thought it was good for a novice to peels as it was quite weak compared to what I'm used to. The therapist was very good - very nice technique, and very good at detail (like applying evenly) and I liked the multiple layers of products. Actually, she gave some great advice and info on a treatment for pigmentation that I'm going to look into. There were aspects of pushing other services and products but without pressure. The room was clean and pretty standard. Location was a bit difficult to find as they don't have a big sign out front as you'd expect.

Holborn salon. Glyconic facial peel.
Therapist didn't tell me to move my fringe when computer was scanning my face for the skin analysis. Results were inaccurate and a waste of time. She kept referring to the fact that fringe was in the way so % givem should be less. I was a bit disappointed with the experience and felt it was not as good as it should have been because it was a Wahanda deal.
Goody bag was disappointing & not worth having. Contained one wash glove, sachet sample & money off voucher

The treatment was very short of the 1 hour total time I was told when I booked. The skin assessment was approximately 3 minutes and proved to be just an opportunity to sell me products. The treatment was mildly effective but again another opening to sell me more. There was no offer of goody bag at the end.

The staff was very polite and flexible if you need to change appointments. The skin peel was very effective, a deep cleanse and facial massage really purified my skin and I feel much more fresh.

The chemical peel was very thorough and very professional . The consultant seemed extremely knowledgeable. I would return if the same deal were to come up again but the real price is a little too much for me.

I was a bit anxious before the treatment - however I needn't have worried. My therapist calmly and concisely told me all I needed to know.
There was a very slight tingling.
Afterwards my skin looked fresher than it had for years.
I will definitely have another one.

I am on my 3rd treatment for laser hair removal at sk:n and its amazing! The treatment has got rid of all my bikini line and under arm hair, and left my skin smooth and shadowless!! I am so happy with my treatment! Im off on holiday this summer to Crete and I don't even have to think about booking in for a wax. The staff have been great, really attentive and it's so quick! I literally pop in on my lunch break and its done. I am thinking about having a microdermabrasion too, the therapist that treated me had amazing skin and apparently thats why! Maybe I will squeeze one in on my next visit.

Laser hair removal is a MUST, sk:n Harley Street is great - why wax or shave?!

Although I have given this venue a high rating, there are other areas of the Company I was very unhappy with.

I first went to SK:N, Harley Street, London when a friend recommended it to me for Laser Hair Removal. I purchased a course of 8 and received 10% discount as I have PCOS.

I was a little apprehensive at my first appointment, as I hadn't liked the patch test at all, the cooling system in the Laser really took my breath away, but Jenna my Consultant was careful and attentive, warning me when she was going to make the next Laser pass, so I could take a breath in. I was very impressed with the treatments and went on to have a further 5. I was advised I could keep my two additional treatments as top ups for any regrowth.

On my final sixth appointment I was told by the receptionist I had to book my next appointment. I said I would prefer not to, as I would probably forget. I was assured I would receive the usual reminder Email and Text message a few days prior to my appointment and it was company policy that I would have to book my next appointment.

The following month my reminder alarm went off in my phone, to alert me I had an appointment at SK:N on that same day, I hadn't received either the reminder text or Email from SK:N and I didn't feel I needed the appointment, as there had been no regrowth, so I called to cancel and was informed I would have to pay a short notice cancellation fee of £25. I was not happy about this and explained I hadn't wanted the appointment in the first place and hadn't received and reminder messages. My query was passed onto the Clinic manager, who I believed was called Matt.

Matt Emailed me and I was rather put out by the tone of his Email, he hadn't bothered to start the letter with "Dear ....." or even "Hi ......", he just put my name and informed me their systems for appointment reminders was faultless, almost inferring I was lying about having not received any reminders. I though he was very rude and didn't appear to understand the meaning of good Customer Service.

Anyway, a few days ago, I received a reminder text and email stating I had an appointment on 10th February, this is an appointment I knew nothing about. Fortunately my day was free on 10th and I travelled from Surrey into London, it was a nightmare trip which took me almost 2 hours. I ended up arriving at the clinic 7 minutes late and was smugly told by the receptionist I'd missed my appointment and would have to rebook. I didn't make a fuss, even though I had never been seen on time for any of my past appointments and on one ocassion en route to an appointment I was phoned to say they were running an hour late, but I didn't complain. I have just put it down to experience and in knowing SK:N will never receive another penny from me. I will just have my final two treatments over the next couple of months and take my custom to a more appreciative company.

To Summarise, the Harley Street clinic itself was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Jenna my Consultant, who has since left SK:N was wonderful, extremely competent and professional. The problem is with their booking system, which regularly sent me reminders with incorrect times or not at all and their poor Managers, who would do well to remember if it wasn't for people like me buying courses for hundreds of pounds, they would have no jobs or business. So SK:N, continue treating your customers dismissively and eventually things will catch up with you. It's a competitive market and there are always hundreds of companies ready to snatch your custom.
