We used the facilities on a wahanda voucher. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pool loveyy with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Nice loungers at poolside but lighting in this area very dim. Overall good facilities and helpful staff.

We had a lovely day at teh Spa the therapists and treatments along with lunch superb. only wee complaint was that there were no seats left beside the pool to lounge in and that it was a bit chilly in hte lounging area. relaxation area was lovely and it woudl have been great to have stayed there for lunch!

I took my mum here for a birthday surprise whilst we were in Edinburgh so I was really nervous - but I needn't have been. It far exceeded my expectations. Lovely staff who listened to my particular muscle concerns and gave one the best full body massages I have ever had. The oils were also really nice and the consultation was thorough. After the experience we were lead to a 'relaxation room' and served drinks as well as having full use of all facilities, it was such a treat!

Fabulous, relaxing day out what a great price! Well worth the money when compared to other Spas in the area. Perfect for girlies who want to chill out, unwind and have a good gossip but equally as nice a treat for couples! Really enjoyed it and will definitely like to return again soon.

First impressions of my experience with the Scotsman was poor. I purchased a spa day for my sisters birthday and initially booked for her actual birthday. When I called to book, I was told the booking was confirmed but she would call me back to confirm!?...there was no phonecall, so I assumed it was confirmed. When i called back 2 weeks later to confirm the booking for the next day - I was told they had no record of the booking and they were closed for training on the day I'd initially chosen. So I had to book for the day after.

On arrival the pool area looked amazing and the facilities seemed lovely. However, the receptionist who "welcomed" us on arrival was grumpy and gave us no information whatsoever, just handed us some gowns and told us to go to the changing rooms. We didn't know where anything was (from previous spa experiences you usually get a short tour so you know what you're doing and are allowed to use the relaxation rooms as a base). So we changed and felt we had no choice but to sit in the pool area until our facial booking 2 hours later. The swimming pool was uncomfortably cold, the steam room was broken and the sauna was cold. So not an ideal place to spend 2 hours waiting on a facial.

That said, the facial was out of this world. The therapist listened to exactly what i told her about my skin and tailored the facial to suit my skin type. I have to say it is probably the best facial i've ever had and I would highly recommend her (unfortunately, I dont have her name).

After the facial, the therapist gave us a short tour and left us in the relaxation rooms - which were fantastic, a really lovely experience and gorgeous place to spend the afternoon. If only the receptionist was more helpful at the start and they didn't mess up my initial booking - as I would have rated this higher.

perfect spa day for me and my mum for her birthday. great value for money, was midweek so quiet when went, felt like we had the place to ourselves. lovely day out

great value for money £65 for 2x one hour massage. after the massage, you get taken to this wonderful relaxation room where u get individual beds with duvets. ambiance is fantastic. hardest part of the day was leaving.

My friend and me arrived two hours prior to our booked treatments. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and offered drinks while we are filling in our treatment enquiry form. We have used their saunna, steam rooms and of course the swimming pool. My therapist has given me a relaxing facial and the mask was great!

We really enjoyed our day here. There were nice facilities in the gym, changing rooms and pool area and they were kept very clean. My friend really enjoyed her massage and said it was amongst one of the best she had had. While I enjoyed mine, I felt teh room was a bit cold and the therapist didnt ask me if I was comfortable with teh temperature. That said - it was a really lovely day and we will be going back. Great value!

I got the two for one voucher for facial and massage. First experience at a Spa and it was fantastic. The staff were great welcoming you straight away and showing where everything was. Facial was great! would definitely get it again!
