Spent a half day at the spa. I had a massage, lunch and manicure. The rest of the time I just lazed around the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and just being able to chill out and have a peaceful day in beautiful surroundings.
The staff is friendly and the spa atmosphere is professional but doesn't have the phony "snooty" atmosphere that some spas seem to think is a good thing. It isn't.
I would highly recommend the Stableyard Spa - the only change that I would make would be the spa menu: it needs a revamp - I would offer some low calorie choices, smoothies, salads that are not laden with cheese, etc.

the accommodation building is beautiful - like a mini Longleat. Very friendly staff, spa is small but very nice, clean and really able to relax. Great food - especially the cream tea in the Great Hall. Would love to go again.

We decided to book Rushton Hall Stableyard Spa for our spa day as we had previously enjoyed afternoon tea in the courtyard in the summer. We were greeted with warm friendly faces and shown around when we arrived.
We slipped into our robes that were provided in our locker with a clean towel and slippers, and then caught up with the girls over a cup of tea in the peaceful lounge area, and waited for our treatments to start.
I enjoyed a relaxing full body massage and facial. The therapist was polite and friendly, and listened and advised me on all my skincare concerns. After 2hours I felt like I was in heaven- the heated beds, candles and mood lighting really made it extra special.
After floating out of the treatment room we got changed and headed down to the main hall for our delicious 2 course lunch. We even treated ourselves to a few glasses of champagne!!
With our tummy's full we made our way back to the spa and enjoyed a leisurely swim in the beautiful pool and went in the sauna and spa pools. We then had our luxury manicures and pedicures and fell asleep on the loungers by the poolside while our polish dried.
We finished our day with another glass of the champagne and treated ourselves to some lovely products.
Unfortunately I was too relaxed on the day to use the gym but I was very impressed with the equipment and am now thinking of becoming a member.
We really enjoyed our day and I would recommend the spa to anyone that wants a more personal spa experience!!
