Write A ReviewBooked vouchers for Radcliffes through Groupon, spoke with the owner Kelly Wilkins who point blank refused to honour the vouchers, advised that we are returning customers (not that this should make any difference whatsoever) but still she refused to honour them stating that they were fully booked until May 2012. She did not offer ANY alternatives or have the business sense to extend the life of the voucher and honour it. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and had a "couldn't care less attitude. Customer service skills are zero. We all will NOT be back and will NOT be recommending this place to anyone

had a fantastic spa day today with my friend at this salon. This was one of those Voucher deals that we used and we both really enjoyed our treatments. Our therapists were Fiona & Emma, they had a really lovely manner & very professional ... The salon itself is gorgeous, we were in a double treatment room, laid out with big fleece blankets, candles & flower petals... all in all, both of us will be booking back in & recommending this salon to our friends & family :-)

lovely salon, great staff and my therapist on the day was very friendly, professional and made me feel at ease during the treatment. I've had difficulties with skin irritation for years & was a little nervous in booking for a facial treatment as the last thing I wanted was to make matters worse!! The facial I received was excellent, really relaxing and my skin felt amazing afterwards... the advice given to me by my therapist for a daily routine has also been working wonders and I'm delighted that I plucked up the courage to try a professional facial. Would highly recommend this salon. Excellent service!

I went to Radcliffes for a special treat for my friend to celebrate her birthday. We had booked a special package that the manager had agreed for us which had a massage, chocolate back wrap treatment, pedicure and manicure. We arrived 20mins late for our appointments due to traffic and the receptionist informed us that we would possibly have to miss out one of treatments from our package because we were late, she did say that she would speak to the therapists to see if there was anything they could do! This was understandable but I was really disappointed as I had booked this as a treat for my friend and we were really looking forward to the whole package. Our therapists then took us through to our treatment rooms (which are gorgeous) and explained that they could still manage to do all the treatments for us but they would have to cut the times down slightly on each treatment... we were both delighted with this & thoroughly enjoyed all of our treatments. The massage & chocolate back wrap were amazing, our therapists were excellent and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them, they made our little pamper experience one to remember and we will definately be going back next month for another visit. Would highly recommend this salon, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff.

Awful treatment. Happy to take your money but after that couldn't care less. Gel polish came off after 5 days when should last 3 weeks. Was told director needed to authorise refund but wasn't available when she was actually sitting on reception and was the one who had passed me over to her manager. Director was supposed to phone me and didn't. A week later she took my call (probably by accident) and I was treated in a similarly disgusting fashion as one of the other reviewers. Director asked me "what did I want her to do about it", she took bookings while I was on the phone, she hung up on me, refused to give me her name. Astonishing way to speak to anyone never mind a paying customer. Would never go back and would never recommend the salon to anyone. Avoid at all costs. Lots of good independent salons that deserve business in these difficult economic conditions when this one certainly doesn't!

This used to be a really lovely salon with great customer service and treatment service. Unfortunately it has gone REALLY downhill in the last 3-4 months. They have had many deals and special offers on Groupon, more than they appear to be able to handle to be honest. My last 3 appointments had were cancelled by Radcliffes (once when I was on my way to the salon) for a variety of reasons - we're having difficulties with the machines, 2 members of staff have called in sick and the machines are at the engineers. It became really difficult to get through to the salon by telephone and voicemails I left were seldom returned. I was often taken up to 20minutes late for appointments which was a bit of a worry when I'd parked outside using Pay & Display meters. I noticed the waiting areas getting busier and my treatment times getting shorter.
It appears Radcliffes have gotten greedy; taking more bookings than they could handle and as a result they have sacrificied customer service and treatment quality.
I could not recommend Radcliffes to anyone now.
