Write A ReviewWhat a brilliant experience!!! I was highly recommended by a friend who gets her brazilian waxing done there. I booked for a hollywood myself and also decided to treat myself to a deep tissue massage. Both treatments were high class performed by very expirienced therapists. The salon is so neat and clean and staff very friendly. Definetely the best I have been by far.

Don't go; terrible customer service.
I had just come back from having a "full manicure" at Purity in Clapham, which was a terrible experience. When I arrived and was offered the two manicure options, I was told that the "full manicure" included nail polish that lasted 14 days. I then went in for my manicure and I said that I wanted the Shellac nail polish as I'd been told at the reception that I could and the therapist said ok. At no point did anyone mention this would cost an extra £15! The manicure was below average with the nail polish looking lumpy and not neatly applied.
When I went to pay, I was told it would be £55, when I queried this I was told they were sorry and I should have been told the Shellac polish cost £15 extra. I said this was unfair and was told that if I didn't pay the extra £15 they would call the police! This is an absolutely unacceptable way to treat a customer. Don't go!

I am writing this review after having a very difficult conversation with the receptionistat Purity Centre.
I called this morning to cancel my appointment on account of being sick and needing to reschedule the appointment. The receptionist's attitude was very aggressive and rude, he informed me that there was a 24 hour period to cancel the appointment and when I repeated that the reason for cancelling the appointment was due to sickness, he claimed that confirmation of rescheduling would be via email and I could still be charged. At this point he also put the phone down on me. He was also reluctant to provide his manager's name when I asked to speak to them. Therefore denying me the right to feedback on his attitude to management.
This attitude has completely put me off coming to this salon again, the reception staff should be aware they represent the company and should be courteous. This is a great shame as the therapists are competent and friendly. However, the front of house at the Purity Centre greatly let the place down.

Living around the corner from this place is fantastic - you can drop by for a facial or massage anytime and they will always squeeze you in, which doesn't mean they're not busy and good, but they always work around you. I mainly come here for the famous Dermalogica facials and the 2 therapists I've had are absolutely brilliant, they make sure you always come out glowing! It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for and the extraction facial really does sort you out and gives you a fresh face! (although don't do it on the day of a big event - best results are 2/3 days before because it leaves some marks!) This place is a real find, great for the neighbourhood and for the ladies of Clapham.
