Write A ReviewLovely day out at the spa in the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. I booked a swedish massage for myself and my husband and we both came away feeling extremely relaxed - the therapists were excellent. Use of the pool was also included and we had it all to ourselves so that was a bonus! Would definitely recommend.

very nice surroundings.. very peaceful and relaxing day. The only down fall was there were children having swimming lessons at the time. the steam room in the main ladies changing room was lot nicer and bigger than the other steam room

So glad my friend took the time to book this special day out for us, it was magical as the hotel was in such a lovely spot able to look at shops on the way always a bonus! The facilities, staff and especially the massage was first rate, thanks Wahanda for yet another great deal!

We were not impressed with the overall standard spa facial and massage. My facial was ok but the therapist didn't explain the products used- pevonia , despite me asking. My husband had a massage and ended up wth a sore shoulder as the massuese did it too hard, it was only asking twice that she went lighter but the damage was done, he had to relax and stretch out in the steam room to try adn undo the tensions/soreness. Facilities are very good but on the whole the treatment were not the standard we expected and we a seasoned spa goers, I wouldn't do the deal again if it came up.

I got a fabulous deal, 2 for 1 for £25 and we got access to the gym and spa + a 45minute treatment each. My mother and I got there earlier to have a swim, a chill in the sauna and then I had the facial while she had the massage. The therapists were fantastic. Bit of a shame the pool is separately from the rest of the gym and spa but the views in the tea room made up for it.

This is a very useful review - hearing about the oldness of the sauna and steam room in a 5 star hotel is a shock, and would definitely put me off. I believed this was one of the most exclusive, new spas in London....

The hotel is very impressive as you walk in and so is the main reception for the spa on the top floor with amazing views. The spa facilities in itself were a bit of a dissapoitment though. The pool is nice and we were lucky to go on a quiet day so we were swimming most of the time by ourselves. On the other side the changing rooms are small with no cubiles for the ones of us that like to get changed in private. The sauna is very small and has seen better days. Considering the rating of the hotel, I was very surprised with it, the wood inside was burn and crumbly to the point that stained my swim wear when I sat without a towel. The steam room is slightly better but the whole feeling is of needing a make over. On the plus side the seating facilities are lovely with iced cucumber and mint water and complimentary fruit.

Mixed feelings about this spa.
Staff I thought were rather snobby they had to be it's knightsbridge.
I wouldnt classify it as a five star spa.
The facilities area looked worn and cheap.
I'm a fan of jacuzzis this one wasnt good hardly no pressure or jets.
The sauna was ok.
Water and towels available.
Facial I had was good therapist was highly trained.
I dont think I will be returning to this shabby looking spa again.

As other reviewers comment, the facilities are split over two floors - 2nd and 9th. This feels less than ideal, but is bearable. The gym, treatment rooms and separate men/women sauna and steam are on the 9th floor; the pool, jacuzzi and separate men/women steam are on the 2nd floor. In practice, it isn't difficult going to and fro, which you only need to do if you want to eat in the club room (9th floor), to go to/fro your treatment or to the gym. I started off on the 9th, had my treatment there, then spent most of the day on the 2nd, going back up to shower and dress. 9th floor facilities are new and immaculate: the club room (where you wait for your treatment) has amazing views; the sauna and steam are super hot; the showers hot, powerful and well stocked; and the changing rooms clean and spacious. The massage was very good, although she didn't read what I'd written on the card, asking for an energising massage; she gave me a relaxing one. It was nice, it was relaxing, it wasn't quite firm enough, but I enjoyed it and was sad when it ended. 2nd floor facilities clearly were all there was at one time. The pool is long, ozonated, a nice temperature, had three lanes, and was clean. The jacuzzi was broken, much to my disappointment. The steam room by the pool was older, but better designed and the temperature slightly cooler, which was more to my taste. There was a relaxation area with newspapers and water - they could really do with one of these on the 9th floor too. Everywhere staff were friendly and courteous. It's easy to get lost, but there are people around to point you in the right direction. I wouldn't have wanted to pay £120 for this package, but it was well worth the £25!
