My skin immediately felt smooth, and I waited until I got back to the office before having a look at my refreshed face. Writing this an hour later, the difference is definitely noticeable and I got a few comments from the girls in the office about it, even without having any make up on. I definitely feel relaxed after the shoulder massage helped get rid of a few pesky knots too.

A small but ultra friendly salon, I really enjoyed my facial with Jenny the salon manager. The place was lovely and clean, and very cosy. The facial was thorough and tailored to my needs. A mix of products was used which I liked as this meant nothing was being slapped on just because it belonged to a certain brand. There was no hard-sell of products after my treatment. All in all a really lovely little place with lovely staff. Would definitely recommend.

This was a sadly disappointing visit. The facilities are far from luxurious, more like tropical done badly. The therapist gave me the wrong treatment even though I raised concerns that it didn't seem like the one I had booked and confirmed by phone. They then forgot that I was booked in for a manicure after my treatment and wanted me to come back on another day. Luckily they finally managed to fit me in on the same day, but the resulting manicure was pretty sloppy. And they couldn't stop name dropping a celeb they had given spa vouchers to and that they were hoping would stop in one day - not very professional!

I found the name Pacifica Day Spa a bit misleading - it is essentially a salon. There are no chill out areas, pools etc, after all. Once I'd got past that, the experience was actually ok. The downstairs zone is tranquil and smells beautiful, staff are knowledgeable and friendly. My massage was excellent and the therapist really worked out all my knots. I was disappointed with the facial and exfoliating body treatment however. My facial didn't include steaming or extraction, and my skin didn't look or feel remarkably different afterwards, such as with my favourite Cowshed facials. The exfoliating treatment left a nice moisturising residue and the body brushing felt really effective but I did not think the product used to exfoliate was great. I suspect most of the above is due to the salon using Elemis products, which I always find to be quite average. The colour range available for manis and pedis was also not huge, although the OPI products they used were good. The package cost £180 overall, so I probably won't return.

It was a good all over beauty treatment which I wish lasted a bit longer. I had to wait outside for a bit since both therapists were treating people when I arrived. My free gifts after closer examination looked like they were used before me but I should of noticed it before I walked out of the salon.

Dont get me wrong, the treatments were lovely. I got there completely soaked by rain and was very much looking forward to the massage and facial. The massage was very good but for the first 15 mins I was very aware of the conversation - my therapist still managed to relax me so much I still almost fell asleep.

The facial was great, the therapist was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of "maintenance" advice - my skin kept glowing for at least a week.
I enjoyed it and will be back.

I was really looking forward to my Elemis experience, this was disappointing. Lady at reception was polite and welcoming, loved their Green Tea. Therapist must have been having an off day, she did not ask any questions on how I like my deep tissue massage, it was more of a faffy massage, I like mine strong.

Facial was ok, again no relevant questions asked and not given any advice on what to do in future.

Cubicle was small and cramped, hanger behind door for all your possessions !!

Visibly better skin after my visible brilliance facial! Received vouchers for this spa and was very impressed with my first visit. The therapist (Kathleen) gave me some good advice and I really felt that the treatment was personalised. All in all a relaxing experience in a convenient location - I will be back!

Disappointing.

As others have commented, the spa itself does not have a great ambience - in particular, the very harsh and bright lighting (and need to sit facing a mirror) did not help my treatment! My therapist was very offhand to start with, then graduated to overly talkative, which meant that the treatment was not terribly relaxing.

The manicure itself was also not great. The shaping and cuticles were good, but there was little of the massage that was supposed to come with the £40 'deluxe' manicure, and by the next morning my colour had peeled off in large sections, and I had to remove it entirely before work the next day.

I will not be visiting again.

It was a great experience; staff were first class and it is definitely something I would spend mymoney on.
No complaints at all.
