Fenwick is quite a classy shop, so you would expect very classy service, especially for the high price. The service and quality wasn't as high as I thought i would be, but having said that, it wasnt bad either. A bit higher than average, just the high price would put me off going there.

I was in Canterbury on Sunday and I needed my gel nails removed as I had caught my finger and it had damaged the gel overlay and my local salon was closed until the Tuesday. After the therapist removed the gels, she took the clippers to my nails and cut them all down short to match the damaged nail? They were left so short that the tips nails and my fingers are now very sore, they look like very badly bitten nails. The clipped nails weren't even filed into a shape, they were left haggered. I then got charged £20 for the treatment. I went back to my local salon who have replaced the gel and tried to file them into some sort of shape. I am very disappointed. After my daughter called them to say how disgusted we are with the nails, they tried to blame my local salon for the application of the gel - which wasn't even an issue. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

I went for a manicure last month and was left feeling very disappointed with the service and quality of the manicure. The manicure itself was very poorly done with smudged polish on two fingers and very poor shape of the nails on one hand – making them slanted with too much filing of the outside nail on one side. The technician spoke only to try and sell me various products and to finish the experience off, when my nails were still drying I was asked to pay and ‘she would help me’. I have had many manicures and pedicures in my time and I can honestly say that this was overall the worst of any of them. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Disappointing++.
