Write A ReviewThe place was nice and the class was fun. The instructor was good. There was a bit of a hard sell to sign you up afterwards but apart from that it was worth a visit.

The trainer at Movers and Shapers was very professional and knew his stuff. A registration form/questionnaire made sure he was able to tailor the workout for me. I was surprised by how hard the workout was, but it was all carefully explained to me, what to do and how and why. Because the sessions are quite short this kind of workout would suit someone very busy with not much time to give to their physical wellbeing.

It seems like Movers and Shapers have got the balance right with the workout time and also the professional personal trainer.

I really enjoyed the interactiveness of the class, its been on of the best classes ive been to but I do feel that the cost is absolutely extortionate across the board - £99 per month for an off peak membership is so much money!
The studio was very small, only around 5/6 plates were there but this did create a nice clozy environment.

Hi Fay, thanks for your comments and really pleased you enjoyed the class. Most of our clients come twice a week, some three times, which makes the monthly pricing great value and works out under £10 a session. All our sessions are with a Personal Instructor and as you pointed out, there will never be more than for others in a session so you get lots of support and attention. And if you cant make it twice a week there are other packages available!

The first health check and consultation is very helpful. Half an hour on the power plate was a good workout session equivalent to 2 hours of running I suppose. Recommended to try.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Explained everything. Spacing small but nice atmosphere.
For first time power plate users, I would recommend to anyone without a physical disability otherwise not ideal.

Nice place, friendly staff, brand new equipment. The music was very good too. No real changing room though. I would have preferred more attention from the trainer, since I have never done powerplate before, but it was OK. The exercise in itself is great, especially if you hate the gym like I do. Would recommend.

Really enjoyed my time at the movers and shapers, and if any deal came up again I would gladly take it. sadly, it was too expensive for me to justify the price, although if I had more money I would. Facilites were lovely, great workouts, and small classes. My only slight gripe was that on doing the boxercise, it took a while to 'wrap' me up, and then the wrap fell apart in the class, which made me miss out on the warm up so I then got cramp.
Otherwise, great fun!

Beautiful venue, my favourite so far. I went for a free trial and was really impressed with the service I received. They offer a completer service where they test your BMI, blood pressure & heart rate. They'll even go jogging or power walking with you if you feel the need for a cardio workout. They are very expensive, but if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed.
