This was my first power plate experience.
It felt like it was all over before it began, but apparently that's all you need.
The room, although small, was well laid out, and felt airy and bright.
The euipment was clean and well maintained and there were lots of extra toys to incorporate into the classes (balls, weights etc...)
The instructor was friendly, professional and clear in her direction, keeping the group motivated through the countdowns.
Would recommend Movers and Shapers to anyone living in the area (I live about 20 mins away, a little too far for a 15 min class!0

It's quite a small studio and I was lucky to only have one other person in the class. I consider myself fairly fit and I was sweating up a storm! It feels a bit odd at first the vibrations but I can completely understand the concept. The staff were incredibly friendly and paid extremely close attention to the alignment of the body, which I rate very highly. I would love to go back but it is a bit on the pricey side for me. If my budget grows, I'll definitely return.

I went to three sessions which I had with Wahanda voucher. Have enjoyed the experience and was considering paying for the course but do think that too expensive for what it is. If the session were individual would buy it( even though they are only for up to 5 and there were never more that 4 of us I felt that we were still a group of people of varying abilities). Since you have to be very fast changing your positions as you are trying to work the whole body in 30 mins I could not keep up few times and felt rushed. Also, one of the trainers I found much better than the other, but never knew which one will be there on any given day. Do think that Powerplate does engage muscles more and gives quick results, as they claim, so would recomend in that sense.

It was my first time on a power plate. I had a good session and I ached the next day so it really works.

This deal offered good value for money and was a great opportunity to try something new without commitment. I could feel the effects of the Power Plate each time and intend to sign up to a further course to continue. The staff are very good and friendly, and the facilities modern, clean and welcoming.

Very convenient location, nice staff and clean and modern facilities. The packages are a bit on the expensive side even though there is some flexibility in the payment terms. The good thing is: there is no joining fee.
However, I think I can get better deals on Powerplates in London.

I've managed to make it to one of the three power plate sessions (bought three on a mob deal) and can't wait to get back for the rest ! The staff are lovely, professional, encouraging. The small class size makes you feel very pampered and is almost like have a one-on-one personal training session.

For half an hour, it was a good work-out but maybe if you are not used to exercising, it can be a bit difficult to do some moves. I am not sure if it would be good just to depend on the power plate for exercising though, maybe it would be best to also know some basic knowledge of pilates on the mat. It could be a good combination.

Good point; you also need some cardio but in some places you can even do boxing on the Powerplate. Enjoy your workouts!

I'm never one to write reviews but after my experience at Movers and Shapers, I felt compelled to. I've never been a regular 'gym goer' - I joined a gym as a new years resolution about 3 yrs ago and that was the first and last time I visited. I also lead a very busy life and find it hard to make the time for fitness. But, this year I was determined to be more active and healthy and a friend of mine recommended Movers and Shapers.
When I entered the studio I was immediately greeted by a friendly and profesisonal instructor. Before my session I was offered a complimentary herbal tea (which, incidentally gets offered every time you visit)
I was then taken through a health 'MOT' and an explanation of how the Powerplate combined with the Fitbug works. The Powerplate sessions are designed to strengthen and tone but more importantly for me the sessions only last 30 mins! Perfect for my busy life. The Fitbug is essentially an interactive tracking device that monitors my daily activity and provides online activity and nutrition advice. A bit like an online coach. So, when I'm not in the studio I'm now motivated to walk more!
The session itself is more like a group exercise but there are only about 4 or 5 people in each class. This is perfect for me because you get the individual attention and help if needed; the instructors take a genuine interest in you.
Movers and Shapers is a simple concept that goes a long way - I've been a member now for 1 month and have already seen a big difference in the way I look and feel. I would highly recommend trying it out.
