From the time I walk in I'm greeted by the front desk, the staff is always friendly and experts at what they do. I think one thing that seperated them from other salons besides the service is they have a barista that makes great cappuccinos. I work in Raleigh and drive to Chapel Hill for the visits and its well worth it and they are not far off Hwy 40. I've been to a couple Durham hair salons and a couple cheaper hair salon and beauty salons in Raleigh that were closer but I always ended up back at Minas because the they really are the best I've found in the area (similar to my experiences at big cities like New York, Boston, etc).
Other recommendation - you usually don't hear about guys getting facials but I have to admit their a great treat every so often. I usually just choose whoever is available for my schedule and Kati, Jenny and the rest are all very good at what they do. Nice way to relax on the weekend.
