This was the worse hairdressing experience I have ever had. I had visited the salon three occasions once through a pervious deal and twice as a fully paid customer. When I the deal became available on wahanda again I checked to see if it was avilable only to new customers, it wasn't so I purchased. Since my last visit to the salon there has been staff changes and the stylist I was given spoke not a word of English which made it impossible to communicate. This resulted in me leaving the salon with my hair colour much darker than I wanted and very much shorter! To add insult to injury the salon owner texted me when I left the salin to tell me not to buy any further vouchers and the voucher that I had brought did not include colour, which the e-mail confirmation clearly said it did. I will never return to this salon and would not definatly not recommend it.

Great location (5 mins drive for me :-) ) was greeted very well on arrival, my therapist was very nice, i didnt like the fact that she cut off all of my nails :( but she had too because they were damaged.. my own nails had turned ORANGE due to polish damage and stain :( - she made my nail colour look healthy and pink again! .. i was very very happy.. she taught me ALOT aswell about doing my own nails at home.. highly recommended! :-)
P.S i LOVE WAHANDA! love the £5 vouchers i get after every review! - thank you

Really nice and friendly team, great location, right across the road from the station.
I have visited in the past for beauty treatments which have always been spot on. Hair cuts are OK.

Salon was quiet even for 11am. Was greeted by Max and hair was cut by a lady called Elizabeth (I think). She showed me to my seat, I told her what I was after and took me over to the wash basin.
Hair wash and cut was OK, slightly off tangent as I wanted a slanted bob like before but anyhow its still a good hair cut. My hair is quite thick so anyone who can make it a good cut is a good hairdresser in my books.
The hairdresser gave me magazine and offered me a cup of coffee after my hair was washed.
Overall good experience, would go again.

I had a very good experience at Luca. Emily did my colour and cut which were both fantastic. It was also done quite quickly which is what i needed, being a busy mum...I will be returning for sure

Having just moved to the area I was looking for a local salon and I had a lovely experience at Luca.
Max did such a fantastic job, and really listened to what I wanted, something that (in my experience) not all hairdressers do. The massage was fantastic, very relaxing, and I left feeling great.
The other girls working in the salon were also very friendly. I'll definitely be going back for more haircuts and some beauty treatments.

I have to say it was a great haircut but attention to customers is a bit lacklustre I had to ask for the same thing 3 times, almost like they werent really listening but was very pleased with the cut and overall good value.

I have been to Luca Salon for a Hollywood and underarm waxing in early December 2012.
The outlook of the salon was very nice and professional, both inside and out, and I went to the waxing room where the therapist let me get ready for the treatments I had booked.
I had booked for 3pm, but I arrived there at 230pm - the therapist said there was no problem and treated me straight away, so that was very good.
The treatment room was nice and warm and there was a relaxing music in the background, and the therapist was chatty and professional.
The therapist started the treatment with the Hollywood waxing and she used hot wax, and it was the first time for me having my Hollywood waxing done with it, so I was a bit scared when she explained to me the process, but in the end it was not so painful, even because she managed to "calm me down" and told me it would have not been that painful, and if fact it was not.
The only downturn was that the wax cannot be stripped off until it is cold and hard, and given that the room was very warm it took a while to be ready, so I suggested the therapist to buy a fan to speed up the process.
While the hot wax was cooling down, she did my underarms with normal wax, and that was nice and easy.
I definitely would come back to the Luca Salon for my waxing after my first experience there, because I had a very good impression overall, and also it is near to where I live.
