I visited the Knightsbridge branch of London Tanning and Beauty last week for arasys inch loss treatment and lymphatic drainage. The therapist who treated me was first class: very friendly and knowledgeable about the treatment, advising me how to get the best out of it. Arasys itself is a little strange. You have pads and belts put onto those parts of you from which you wish to lose inches and then electrodes are attached to those which pass a current into your body. The power is increased gradually by the therapist depending on your pain threshold. A course of 10 is recommended for maximum inch loss. I've only had my first but lost an inch from my waist. The second treatment I had was lymphatic drainage (or body gold as the salon calls it). This involves a wave like sensation passing up and down your body by the booties you're wearing on your legs. It's boring to be honest and not for me. I much prefer a manual lymphatic drainage massage. The room for the lymphatic drainage was a bit small. The salon was very clean, and I was pleased with the arasys. The therapist was excellent.
The cellulite treatment was so good that I have bought a course afterwards.. The staff was friendly and they seemed to know what they were doing.. Definitely worth it!!! Thanks Wahanda!!
I had the lymphatic drainage massage and it felt like the blood pressure test you have at the doctors on your legs and stomach. It was a strange feeling not really sure it did much though after one session.
The beauty shop location is easy to find and close to the tube station. Very good value of money with Wahanda deal for a taster course. But relatively expensive if you sign up for the treatment course.
These guys squeezed me in VERY last minute after another venue cancelled on the day and they were friendly and helpful - offering top advice for a first time user of the tanning booths. I'm not a massive fan of the booths as I think it could be risky plus you do end up inhaling a whole heap of the product however the tan was even and only minor fail on the hands (which would have been my fault for not putting enough barrier cream on) so can't take points off for that!
