After reading all the great reviews about the laser hair removal i finally decided to give it a go!
Everything was explained to me before the treatment and i was clear in what sort of re growth i should have. Its now been 2 weeks since my treatment and i'm still waiting on my bikini line to grow bk.

I've been visiting Light Clear for a few months now and wanted to wait to review until I'd had a few sessions under my belt, I have now had four sessions out of a course of six.
Well, what to say! The skin rejuvenation treatment has totally transformed my face. My pigmentation and melasma does exactly what it's meant to and is noticeably lighter and less pronounced. Everyone comments on how fantastic my skin looks these days, although Ive got a long way to go this treatment has changed my skin and totally for the better. I can cover up my horrible, freckly, uneven skin much easier - my make up seems to settle nicely rather than slip off and like I said my pigmentation is noticeably different.

I'm quite surprised at the 1 star review as my treatment is currently on 11 point something, so 10 is definitely not the highest setting on the machine, and from my consultation and all the sheets given to me I knew that I wouldn't be able to tan at all, so I'm not sure what happened there. But I knew this place would work for me - the therapist is wonderful and explains everything totally. You get an information sheet, leaflet and a do's and don'ts card before you leave so you are fully equipped with all the information you would ever need for someone who is nervous about treatment. the only thing I would say is it is sometimes difficult to get someone on the phone, but I was always called right back or my emails were responded to promptly so it's not too much of a problem.

The treatment itself quite uncomfortable, painful at times even, but Natasha has been keeping me entertained throughout and before I know it, it's over and the hot, spiking sensation turns into just a warm glow and my face is usually just slightly red before I leave.

For the few days after treatment your face looks a bit funny, the pigment goes darker and if you have any blotchy skin it can seem like its even blotchier, but then it clears and you're left with a beautiful glow and brightens up - this has been my experience after every session I have had so far, anyway.

The 'clinic' itself is a small room in the basement of a tanning salon, totally no frills and by no means luxurious, but once you get passed that it is a fabulous place to go with a wonderful, knowledgeable therapist, absolutely reasonable prices and a fantastic machine that for me, has produced results and I will continue to sing it's praises.

Even thought the laser is suppose to be very effective for skin pigmentation, it can actually make the pigmentation even more visible which happened to me. The clinic uses ELLIPSE IPL laser machine with dirrefent power settings up to 10. I have only used two sessions of my 3 session deal first with setting 8 and second with settings 8.3 and 8.5 which caused my face to burn on cheaks. Please be aware that you should not get any laser treatments done if you are even slightly tanned or used self-tanning creams in the last 60 days as the laser will affect the darkest areas of your skin. This was not highlighted enough before the treatment, and especially when booking the session over the phone. Even thought the price for the laser was good, my pigmentation is actually now in larger areas and goes darker if not total sunblock of spf 50-100 added on my face while on the sun. My face 'burned' on the second session due to too hgh power, and I went to hospital burns unit to get a second opinion. Even thought the therapist is lovely, she works on her own and had to call the company to ask their advice when my skin reacted to the laser.

The 'clinic' is in one room downstairs of Electric Beach tanning Salon, and literally just fits in two people with the laser machine and treatment bed.

I have had IPL laser done before for pigmentation back in dec 2011 with different laser machine in Kings Road, and my skin did not have any adverse reaction, and I felt the treatment was more gentle, and 'lifted' the pigmentation out, made it lighter after the initial 3-4days, and therefore was effective.

Natasha (the therapist) explained everything very clearly and thoroughly on the first consultation, and took time to ensure the patch test provided her with the necessary information for the treatment. The treatment itself was done very professionally and with great care with regards to the level of discomfort. I've had one treatment so far (I booked a course of 3) and can already see results. I definitely recommend Light Clear IPL clinic, and will be going back for more when needed.

The Therapist Natasha is SO lovely and welcoming. i was a bit nervous but she really put me at ease and answered all of my questions and was extrremelly knowledgable about the treatment. The room itself is below a tanning shop just off Oxford street; it was very clean and comfortable albeit a bit on the titchy side, but how much room do you need?

The treatment was a bit uncomfortable but i had been fully prepared for this and Natasha had given me the option of a break if it all got too much - it didn't, and while not exactly pleasant it was bearable.

I have now had one treatment on my face and chest and i can already see a difference to the clarity of my skin, my diffused redness and freckles. I LOVE THIS TREATMENT!! can't wait for my next go at it, though this time i will be taking my mineral foundation along for afterwards as i was quite a bright shade of red going home (not ideal walking down Oxford st!), i am not sure whether everyone reacts like this but as i said, i have a lot of diffused redness already which was why i chose this treatment.

In summary, i love this little place and the therapist is WONDERFUL! I cannot recommend it enough.

Had two sessions of laser hair removal and can already see good results. Therapist is super nice and friendly and contributes to making this such a good experience. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering laser hair removal.

Great results... had my underarms zapped and it worked a treat even after one treatment. Very quick, and pain free (you can feel it but its defo not painful) the room is clean and has everything it needs for what it offers and the lady was well presented and friendly ... what more could you ask for!?! Thank you x

Convienience location,close to Oxford Circus.However the salon itself is a very small and is located in a basement,but looks nice and clean.And terapist Natasha is...PERFECT.She is so chearfull and helpfull ,also certainly she knows her job.Her attitude is so welcoming and positive.I am delighted ,that I have found such a good terapist and can not wait for my next appointment.Strongly reccomended to anyone.

This place was SUCH a pleasant surprise. The therapist is one of the nicest people I've met, let alone be a therapist! She is so friendly, genuine and really seems to love her job and want to do it properly. I paid for a course of 3 treatments and she was honest and said she doesn't think I'll need any more after that so she's not trying to scam anyone - something I've had at other beauticians. The treatment itself is also awesome - my skin looks so nice even after one treatment. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here, she's really fantastic.

I think this place is fab! It's not over the top or clinical. It's a room in a basement of a tanning salon, but it's easy to find and really close to the station. The room is small, but clean and to be honest, you dont need much room for these treatments.The lady who I saw, Natasha is lovely - she's very warm and friendly (and a good sense of humour too!) but knows her stuff. She spent alot of time talking me through the treatment and answering my qiestions. She talked me through the treatment too so it was pretty much what I expected. So far I've had my patch test and one session - I see a slight difference already, it's hard getting used to shaving instead of waxing though thats the only tough thing, but will review again when I've had my course of 6.
