I was really disappointed with this spa- it's not a spa at all it's just a swimming pool. The changing rooms were unclean- the floor was disgusting- and other than the pool there was just a steam room and relaxing chairs. The gym was alright but very dated equipment and again not particularly clean. I had a massage and facial as part of my package- the massage was fine but not very deep, the facial was lovely.
The outlook and setting is lovely, but calling this place a spa is rubbish. It would be better if it was just open to members and hotel guests, that way no one would be disappointed.

another thing I just remembered, I wasn't told what to do or where to go when my treatments were due, so I was hanging around waiting in the pool area while the therapist waited for me in reception. When I finally decided to come through (in my swimming costume, which I wasn't very happy about) she knocked the 10 minutes off my treatment time even though I explained I hadn't been told that I'd have to wait in the reception area (which is also the reception area to the gym, with lots of people buzzing about)
The whole day was wonderful. Pool and spa area were really quiet and relaxing and the treatments we all had were great. We weren't expecting much for lunch but I have to say it was superb!!!! Highly recomended.
I was disappointed on arrival as the spa is very small and in need of updating but the staff are very friendly and the therapist and treatments also very good. I had a mini facial and back neck and shoulder massage which I though on balance were very good value for money as my therapist was professional and lovely.
The steam room was a good temperature and the pool though small was ok and the showers are powerful.
It was half term when we went and the facilities were open to members and children but it never seemed crowded although it is quite small and everyone was very friendly.
I had a very relaxing time and felt very welcome at the venue.
really enjoyed my time at the spa - used the gym before entering the pool area. Had to wait a while for therapist as only one was working, therefore we were left on our own for periods of time whilst we took it in turns for treatments.
Therapist was excellent, I felt at ease and she made me feel comfortable at all times. The treatments were outstanding and I left feeling relaxed. Unfortunately my friend didnt expereince the same quality. She had a manicure and because the therapist was running late the varnish didn't have time to dry, therefore came off during her shower. She wasn't a happy bunny........ Would recommend for a girly relaxing day out to catch up whilst being pampered at same time......
the facial was ok. the manicure well it really wasnt a manicure only had the nails filed and 4 coats (yes 4 coats) of nail varnish. still hadnt dried in half an hour and we had to go. all nail varnish had smudged so had to take it off when i got home. waste of money!!!
