Founded in 1982, Kurotel was inspired in the European Kur stations, and has always embraced the philosophy of client follow-up 24-seven, pursuing preventive health, and combining traditional methods such as hydrotherapy with the most advanced technologies in diagnoses and treatments. Physician Luís Carlos Silveira and his wife, Neusa Silveira, have made a lifetime project into the well-known Kurotel.
Kurotel Longevity Center and Spa counts on 35 apartments and a total built-up area of 6 thousand m², attending an average of 120 clients per month. The multidisciplinary team is comprised of physicians, physiotherapists, physical educators, nutritionists, psychologists, biochemists, pharmacists, and beauticians.
In 1998, Kurotel’s Stress Control Center was launched in a specific area with equipment that assists the guest to achieve deep relaxation, as it works on the brain waves to increase immunity to stress. In the following year, the Spa unit was established to meet the needs of those who pursued a complementation to clinical results, and also wanted to take care of their appearance and beauty. In 2000, the Kinder Kur was created. This program makes it possible for moms to get into shape again and provides guidance on physiotherapeutic activities and eating habits for their babies.
