went here with my sister we both had hot stone massage which was amazing! Only down fall is that we expected there to be more facilities, it was quite small a nail room then massage room. The therapist was lovely and it was a very good deal!!

The setting of Hazelwood Castle is lovely however the spa itself is three rooms in the grounds. The staff were friendly and we had our treatment in the double treatment room. The spa is let down by its lack of facilities with nowhere to relax after your treatment.

Lovely surroundings - and great treatments. I visited Hazelwood for my Birthday and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were very attentive and professional and the treatments were great especially the massage and the facial which were the best I have had, and that is a compliment because I am a regular when it comes to pampering myself. I will certainly be returning!!!

Lovely gardens and castle steeped in history, castle tour very informative. lunch and afternoon teaca real treat, food fantastic, the best treacle sponge I have taste. The treatments were very relaxing, therapists were professional with excellent massage skills, facial was good. Hot tub, pool or sauna would have enhanced the experience. I would recommend the enrich spa to friends, very satisfied customer.

Having got married at the castle in 2002 I was very curious to see how the spa would fit in..

Plenty of parking which is a bonus, lovely grounds and fantastic setting.

Spa..wouldn't really classify it as a spa, more like a couple of beauty rooms with a main reception where nails are also done. The room we used was fine but not at all luxurious, nowhere to hang clothes, no mirror and the door leads straight outside onto the main courtyard so not that private (would recommend a vestibule or at least a curtain over the door). Also I'd replace the carpet with laminate for hygiene purposes.

Therapists were young but very good, asked about pressure etc and that was all which is just the way I like it, no idle chit chat.. really enjoyed the massage and could have easily had another one.

massage bed slightly wobbly but adequate, lovely towels on the bed for comfort.

All all in good value for what we paid which was £30 for two 1/2 hour massages but could improve with a few little adjustments as stated above.

Not a great experience at all and definately would not reccomend! I booked a massage for myself and partner a month ago and then forgot what time i had booked it for. I rang 3 times and left 3 messages with no responce until a couple of days before when i had a voice message telling me the time of our treatments with no apology for not getting back to me only that they had been busy??? Arrived for our massage yesterday to be greeted by the two most glum miserable girls you could imagine. No smiles no welcome, just shunned into the corner of a small reception/nail table to fill in a long questionnaire befor we started. Funnily enough the phone rang at this point, to my amazement the girl just sat there and let it go to answer phone, i couldn't believe it!!!!Then we were shown to the room which was nothing like a spa room just a tired dirty treatment room with oil all over the surfaces and no blinds to block out the sunlight so it wasnt even dark and relaxing. The massage was also awfull i felt as though i had been tickled for 30 minuits, even when i jumped in the areas which she was clearly tickling she didn't do anything to change it, just carried on when i was clearly not enjoying these specific movements. No pressure was applied as the discription said in the treatment brochure(deep tissue massage)!! and she had the coldest hands ever. I was a beauty therapist for 6 years so i suppose its easy for me as i know how things should be done, such as warming your hands befor touching somebodys skin, this therapists hands were freezing and she took her hand off my back so many times which is also not meant to happen in massage. Then we were left to get changed once they had finished but wasnt told where to go after, so we just walked out of the room which takes you straight outside to a courtyard area with nobody there to say bye or ask us how we were, as we had already paid upfrount we just left and headed back to the car. We will not be returning again.

Fantastic double treatment room for me and my partner to have our treatment together, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we're looked after throughout. Kerry is an excellent therapist and would definately recommend this day spa to family and friends.
