We booked a winter spa break. Amazing value - included use of the spa all day, 30 min massage each, £30 each to spend on dinner, accommodation in a lovely room and breakfast. Spa facilities were great, especially the fire and ice experience and although the spa is reasonably small it never felt overcrowded and in fact a lot of the time we had the sauna etc to ourselves. Couple of downsides were that we had to get dressed and leave the spa for lunch at the pub close by as there was no food facilities unless you had lunch included in your deal and also the relaxation room - as there weren't really any other break out spaces in the spa we ended up sharing this with a noisy hen do who had nowhere else to have a goss! Obviously not their fault but not too relaxing for us! Oh and also make sure you take your own flip flops as they don't provide these.
All in all a fab break and would thoroughly recommend!

I was really impressed with Imagine Health Spa at Knights Hill. There is no other Spa in this area and yet the standard is very high. As soon as you walk in you are hit with a calming atmosphere of dim lights and an instant feel of relaxation. My favourite room has 4 sun longer style beds with loads of cushions, relaxing music and background noise of birds, dim lights where it is so easy to fall asleep. The pool is a good size with jacuzzi and all the different types of steam and sauna rooms you could need.
I celebrated my birthday there with three friends and the intimate calming setting made it a perfect day to relax as a group but I imagine it just as fitting for a couple or to go alone.
I would really recommend a day visit with two treatments. The ultimate luxury and relaxing day!

I went with my mother, who is not into spas at all, for a half day Fire & Ice package and I booked a Serail mud treatment for the two of us as well.
The Fire & Ice package allowed you full use of the facilities (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room (well lit), foot spas, aroma showers - one in orange blossom and the other with mint - another two steam rooms (one with subdued lighting and the other was not working at the time), ice fountain, and relaxation room with loungers and adjustable lighting), although one of the steam rooms in the main spa area was not working on the day, but this did not really detract from the experience.
On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who explained tha spa facilities to us, as we had not been before, and were made aware of where everything was via a tour. We then changed into our swimsuits and robes and headed to the main spa area, where we were greeted by a lovely therapist. We were offered a cold drink or herbal tea whilst we completed the spa questionnaire (to make sure we were suitable for any treatments we chose) and then the therapist returned to explain the diiferent treatments available. We decided to go for the Serail Mud treatment as it was one of their most popular treatments, and it sounded like it would be a good experience for my first spa treatment. We would be found by our therapist when it was time for our treatment, so we did not have to worry about being somewhere at a specific time, which meant we could relax completely.
We enjoyed spending time round the spa, trying out everything, but loved spending time in the steam room with subdued lighting; incredibly relaxing. The spa was not busy when we went (mid-week, just after lunch), so it was very quiet and this made the aternoon all the more enjoyable as we had the spa area nearly to ourselves as everyone else seemed to be in the pool. I was really surprised at how much they offered in the space available, both in terms of treatments and facilities, and managed to create a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
The Serail mud treatment was excellent. The friendly therapist came to find us, took us to our treatment room and recapped what would happen briefly, so we would understand completely what would happen during the 40 minutes the treatment lasts for. To start with, you apply mud all over you body (you can do this for each other or the therapist can do it for you), then go into the room and sit down listening to relaxing music for 10 to 15 minutes whilst the mud dries. Then the steam starts up and fills the room, so the mud loosens and you can rub it all over your body to act as an exfoliator. The steam lasts for 20 to 25 minutes, then a shower above your seating area starts up and allows you to wash the mud off. My skin was fantastically smooth and looked great afterwards, and I felt very relaxed.
The changing rooms are relatively spacious, offering a good number of lockers and showers, as well as hairdryers. The facilities were kept very tidy and there were plenty of water stations spread throughout the spa, so you do not get dehydrated.
In summary, this an excellent little spa offering a lovely range of facilities and therapies, offering good value for money and clearly knowledgeable and friendly staff. I will certainly be making a return visit in the future.

This is a fab day spa. Having been there several times now, the service is consistent and outstanding. All staff are so helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is great too. Very relaxing and very clean and tidy. Far better than other spas that I have visited.
