The Hochschober is renowned for its attractive setting and its all-weather activities and facilities featuring unique attractions like the Turracher See lake pool, the Hamam, an authentic oriental bath, and its four-story, lakeside Chinese pagoda complete with teahouse, meditation room and treatment area for traditional Chinese medicine. The uppermost floor affords a magnificent view of the mountains and lake. Here you can experience the Chinese world of tea - something unique in the Alps.
Here at the Hochschober, slowing down is the order of the day, and regular guests to the hotel have even coined the term “Hochschobering” to mean just laying back and enjoying the moment.
A range of treatments to choose from as well, with a spa menu that includes Mediterranean, Nordic, Oriental and Far Eastern therapies and treatments. In addition to its famous Haki massage, the hotel also offers a number of other massage techniques such as Ayurveda massage, traditional Chinese medicine, Hamam treatments, cosmetics, body treatments, and body wraps.

Last Jan we went with a big group of people for a long weekend celebrating a birthday of our friend and we had a great time. The table was all organised in a slightly quieter part of the dining room, which made it lovely for all of us to sit together and even when we were the last ones at dinner, the staff put together cheese platters for us so we wouldn't miss out if they were starting to clear up. We all agreed the attention to detail is incredible.
If I'm there with family or a group of friends the owners are always very warm and welcome and the staff has never disappointed, with some of them having been there for a long, long time and it's always a pleasure seeing them again.
I can very much recommend this hotel and will continue going there at least once a year!
