Surrounded by coral reefs, magnificent mountains, landscaped gardens and meandering lagoons, this amazing resort overlooks 400m of pristine white beach. The treatment started with a body exfoliation treatment (the therapists made us wear some paper underpants), after which we had to shower off. We then had massages which were lovely, and then facials. We got to also enjoy the privacy of the shower room and outdoor tub.
I went over the New Years (Dec 2006 / Jan 2007), and booked a package spa treatment as a guest at the hotel. Unfortunately, it was difficult to get spa information beforehand, so I needed to book when I arrived by going to the spa and getting an information booklet.
Some notes about the hotel:
It takes 35-45 minutes by taxi to get to the hotel from the airport, fyi.
Even though the place was full (mostly Russian & Chinese tourists), it felt very quiet and calm. The layout is amazing with pools, bridges, a place to play water volleyball & basketball, a poolside bar, etc. The beach is fantastic - quiet, amazing waves (mostly), loungers and great sand. The weather was surprisingly decent, but a little windy.
The room was amazing - very comfortable bed, great design, a massive circular tub, an open shower, great view and private balcony. In room CD.DVD player and flat screen TV, and a nice sitting area as well. Very romantic...and the room service was always spot on. Amazing fruit, great champagne, good food (great breakfast as well). And the service is prompt and very friendly.
