I had a great experience. The staff was extremely nice and very professional and competent. The treatment room was very clean, and the treatment started on time. It was the most pain-free waxing experience I have ever had and would certainly recommend to anyone!

The therapists who did our body scrubs were both very nice and good, and the reception staff helpful. The hotel venue appearance was good, and the body scrub and complimentary glass of bubbly were good and as described. As the venue is more a hotel with some spa facilities than a specialist spa, we had to walk through the spa reception to the ladies' changing room to have a shower mid treatment, rather than there being a shower in/next to the treatment room. This wasn't a big problem as robes and towels were provided, but just to illustrate it isn't a purpose-built spa, rather a spa in the basement of a hotel. The facilities which were available for use after the treatment were good - small pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna.
The only thing that really let the experience down was the ladies' changing room. It smelled very unpleasant and was not clean at all. The ladies' toilets in the changing room were also dirty and smelly and the showers weren't overly clean. We had a nice relaxing time with our treatments and then in the sauna/steam room afterwards, but it was a shame that the changing rooms really let the overall atmosphere down.
After our treatment we had a drink in the hotel bar upstairs - £3.95 for a coffee and £3.50 for a tea, plus 12.5% service charge on top seemed very steep! But as we had saved money on the treatment, we didn't mind too much. I wouldn't have paid £9.95 for the cheese toastie on the bar menu tho... ;)

The location is quite hard to find then at the bottom of lots of windy corridors and stairs so the ambience isn't totally spa like. That said the facilities were good if a little small and you do have to walk from the treatment room through quite a busy corridor and past the glass walled gym to get to the showers halfway through your treatment.
The staff were brilliant and the treatment was great - the products they use are very indulgent and smell amazing - we both had a body scrub and moisturise and they advised on complimentary produts for our needs.

The spa day was really good and value for money, it was a rather long walk from Old street station. The therapist was really nice and gave a good massage and was really friendly. There was no relaxation room to chill out in whilst waiting for our treatments so we hung out by the pool. There seemed to be too much Chlorine in the pool since when I got home my swimming suit had lost its colour. Overall it was a good day, had an enjoyable time and it had all the facilities, however it would of been nice if there was a relaxation room.

I had booked a birthday surprise for my boyfriend's mother, and ordered a spa package which included two hours' use of the spa, plus a full body exfoliation, a mini pedi, and champagne. The spa itself is part of a hotel, next to the gym. The spa facilities include a decent sized pool (at 1.35m a good depth for a relaxed swim, and lined with a few deck chairs), and around the pool there was a steam room with about eight seats, a small sauna and a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was not working when we arrived. The steam room was wonderful, as was the sauna, though we were lucky to arrive on a day when there weren't many people, or it would have been far too crowded.
We were fetched by the beautician for our appointment, which included a full body exfoliation and coconut oil. We were talked through the scrubs (a selection of salt and sugar) one by one, including their benefits. We both selected the luxury rose scrub, and were led to the treatment rooms to pick varnishes for our mini pedi. The scrub itself was lovely, though we had to walk back to the changing room in bath towels to wash it off in the shower before the coconut oil was applied. My skin felt incredibly smooth after the treatment, and I was glowing all day. The pedi was unfortunately a disappointment. Whilst we were aware they would be mini pedis, for a half hour treatment I had expected more than a shape and one coat of polish, with no top coat. The pedi was carried out on the treatment table, which was fine, but there was no rough skin removal, or moisturising treatment for the feet, just a very cursory cuticle treatment, and we had to sit outside the reception waiting for our toes to dry. The champagne came in plastic cups, which didn't bother us, but after half an hour of sitting and chatting in our robes I put my shoes back on and found when I got home that the polish had smudged.
All in all, a nice little spa (and the staff are wonderful) but not quite the luxury experience I had hoped for. In any case, I'd recommend anyone wanting to get a scrub to go for it! Perfect pre-big night out.

was extremely disappointed when me and my friend go there. The venue was looked and felt like a gym rather than a spa. was also open to the public which doesnt really give the feel of a 'spa day'.
whats more the therapist gave me a neck and back shoulder massage and the next morning my shoulders were hurting really bad :/ and iv had massages before and thats never happended to me before!

Was a nice place with jacuzzi, a decent size swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Changing room was very gorgeous decor and clean.
Apart from the fact that the spa area was in the sub-basement of the hotel, there was not much privacy as the pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam room are in plain view in front of the reception desk where there is a gym 2 meters on the opposite side, so I didn't find it as relaxing as it could have been.
Didn't appreciate the disorganisation of being taken for treatments and not getting the full allocated time paid for as they were severely understaffed, with a very rude staff member as well who gave my companions brutal and unsatisfactory 'treatments'.
Generally nice place, would visit again, just not for any treatments.

Very small treatment area but nicely fitted and friendly, well trained staff. Hollywood wax hurt much less than usual using special non-strip wax. Made to put disposable underwear on though, which is strange for a hollywood as half of the time is spent moving it around!

The ambience was great as well as the customer care. The process of obtaining the voucher was quick and easy and I had no problems using it at the designated venue. I would recommend this to someone who wanted to get something similar.

Excellent hair removal results. Happened upon a great offer and I am extremely satisfied with the results and I would recmmend this place to others. Location is ideal. Stuff is very friendly. i also though the booking was considerably easy and flexible compared to some other Wahanda offers.
