I bought this as a present for my Mum expecting a Spa Day, but this place is too disjointed to be what I would think of as a spa day.

We started off by booking in at the Salon, which you access through going through a cinema foyer which was odd and left us a little confused by where to go and the whole thing really. We were sent to the Raddison for our afternoon tea, which was back out of the Salon, through the cinema down the escalator through the centre. Here the afternoon tea was, well very disappointing really. After taking 40 mins for it to arrive, the sandwiches were ok but the so called homemade scones were anything but. Not sure which home they were made in but they were definitely warmed up in a microwave. They went hard nearly instantly, Mum had to send hers back. Then there was supposed to be fruit cake, which they did bring when asked and apologised saying the chef must have forgot because he was making the sandwiches, not sure how hard it is to make 4 sandwiches and cut them up into quarters, anyway it did arrive and it was 2 pieces the size of a stamp, wish they hadn't bothered.

Anyway we went back to the Gym to try the facilities, which were ok, nothing special and a bit cold in the changing rooms. Used the 1 jaquizzi that was working and the steam and sauna which were fine. Although we were given a towel there was no robe so it really didn't feel like a spa day.

Out treatments had to be booked at different times as there was only one therapist on so I went for a swim whilst mum went for her treatment. Problem was the treatments were in the salon part which was out of the main gym so you had to get changed back into normal clothes and off into the salon. Mums treatment of the facial and head and neck massage was lovely, and so was my body massage. We got a glass of wine whilst we were waiting (Not Champagne I have to add as advertised). The girls in the salon were lovely and I can't fault the treatments. We both had our hair washed and blow dried, but again an hour apart so because mum had gone first she had to wait nearly an hour for me to finish.

So all in all not really a Spa Day, wasn't really what I was hoping for as a birthday present. The girls in the salon are lovely, but everything else was poor, disjointed and for the money a bit of a waste really. I would have given it one star if it wasn't for the girls in the salon, who deserved more stars but the rest of the day let it down.

I had my haircut by a really lovely Irish girl who was very welcoming and made my visit comfortable. She cut my hair exactly how I asked her and made sure I was happy with the finished look. I really liked this salon and will be going back again soon

I try to go to this salon as often as possible when I can get into Leeds on a Saturday and it always offers an excellent cut and hair treatment at a very good price. This time, I had a stylist I had not tried before (Gemma) who was excellent and the cut was great. I have not encountered a stylist that I have been unhappy with here and would highly recommend the salon to anyone.

The hairstylist was very good - advised me to go darker which I'm now very pleased that I took her advice. I still had highlights but they were very subtle.

I have been to Headlines a few times now but this was the first time I had my cut with Laura who did a fantastic job. All the staff are really nice and the ambiance of the salon is really good. Laura took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and the end result was perfect for me.
Unfortunately, I can't get to Headlines regularly for my haircut due to sometimes not being able to get through to Leeds on a Saturday when I need a cut but I will definitely try and get there as often as I possibly can.
Great value, great cut and a pretty good cup of coffee too!!

I was booked in for a treatment but as the salon had a cancellation on this day from a large party, I was telephoned and offered a complimentary treatment of my choice to complement my facial. The facial was one of the best I have had and my therapist was excellent. I chose to have an eyelash and eyebrow tint as my complimentary treatment and the results were really good. I would not hesitate to recommend this salon and their staff. Thank you.

Really great experience and i would highly recommened this salon. All the staff were really friendly and the salon itself feels high end. I was really happy with the haircut and was very pleased that i was jusn't given a junior stylist because i had a voucher. My stylist, Laura, had loads of experience and intrpreted what i would like fantastically. Really enjoyed the indian head massage (although it could have lasted a little longer). I have already been back to the salon to have my fringe trimmed which laura happily did with no booking or fee. Will be using this salon for all my hair appointments in future.

Yeah was generally a good service to be honest,. Average beauty technicans and average equipment but ok value for money in the grand scheme of things. It would benefit more from more offers available to get people through the doors.
