Dr Carole McAlister is a General Practitioner and aesthetic doctor based in Glasgow.

She graduated as a doctor of medicine and surgery at the University of Edinburgh in 1988.

In 2008 she undertook the “Facial Aesthetics in General Practice” course and subsequently she studied for the “Advanced Facial Aesthetics and Dermal Fillers” certificate for Doctors.

Her combined surgical and general practitioner medical experience has enabled her to develop the necessary skills on which the aesthetic treatments are founded.

Dr Carole McAlister is fully qualified and experienced as an advanced practitioner to administer Botox for the reduction of facial wrinkles and for hyperhidrosis. She is an advanced practitioner of Juvederm products and other dermal fillers (Restylane) for the reduction of facial lines and for increasing lip fullness.

She regularly attends professional development courses, study groups and practical sessions and continually updates and broadens her skills in non-surgical aesthetics treatments.

I do not believe in over-treating which can result in the inability to move or produce natural expressions. That is also why I ensure good aftercare for patients to enable complete satisfaction”.

In September 2008 Carole underwent her third annual GP appraisal by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (Appraiser Number GG16).
