Love Good Vibes Power Plates! Its a small class which means you really get the attention you need from your instructor. Everyone that works there are always smiling and very welcoming.

This is a cosy friendly venue but a little cramped. I enjoyed the power plate and felt the young instructor was trained well and able to help individuals within the class. Changing facilities are limited. I have been back.

I went along to Good Vibes for two Power Plate sessions after getting the MobDeal - 2 classes for £10. This was my second time at Good Vibes and I had high hopes as I'd liked it the first time I tried it out.

I do like the atmosphere at Good Vibes - it's clean and a bit quirky - nothing had changed from the year before. It's a very small place with only one class ever going on at a time which is a good thing considering the lack of changing rooms, but it can be tricky to book in at the last minute - we booked ours in a week in advance, with evening slots being busy.

The classes were good - particularly the first week I went as I felt we really worked hard (given that I was very unfit!) and I felt like I had a whole body workout, with work on the abs and arms as well as the legs. The instructor was cheery but perhaps not as motivational as the guy I had had before. The second week I went, we had a different instructor who focussed a lot more on quicker, less intense exercises particularly on the legs, so I came away feeling like I hadn't worked hard enough. That said, I am someone who needs a fair bit of pushing else I will take the easy route out!

The instructors do keep the movements quite varied so you won't get bored that's for sure - and I did feel like my muscles had been worked out. I did want to carry on with classes but the price tag on power plates still put me off - I think I'd be better getting a gym membership at a venue who offer power plates as part of it so that I can take the techniques I used and do it myself. In my classes though, the other 3 people taking part were all regulars and I could tell by their toned figures - a good advert in itself!

Good Vibes is really a place with a good vibe. I visited the one in Fitzrovia. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the decoration and style is really funky. For those who dont have time to spend in the gym or are not keen going to the gym like myself, power plate is a fast way to exercise and feel fit. Instructors were good and the level of exercises varied. Three sessions per week are recommended and they offer different packages. I want to try the bikini body one as i have a beach holiday coming up, but they have different packages which concentrate on different areas of the body. Definitely recommend it as a power plate studio if the location suits you.

I bought the Good Vibes MobDeal where I got two sessions for £10. I was really excited about trying Power Plate out as I'd heard rave reviews about how good it was for getting rid of cellulite and strengthening muscles, and I really wasn't disappointed!

My first session was a little scary as I didn't know what to expect but for a 25 minute workout I definitely felt the burn! The trainer made sure I understood how to stand on the plate properly and that I knew how to do the exercises without feeling out of sync with the others. Some exercises were relatively easy and others were harder to keep up with (particularly using the straps and pulling arms up to shoulders...ouch!) but all in all it's a really effective workout without needing to stay in the gym 'til midnight...

My second session was even harder with a different trainer. That's part of why I enjoyed the change, because I got to do different workouts and at a different pace too. This time my legs were aching for a few days afterward but that only meant it was doing its job. I have to say, even after only two sessions I felt like my skin was tighter and my muscles stronger! Block sessions are quite expensive, so there's a fair bit of saving for me to do to be able to afford going back, but it's such an effective exercise it's worth it!

Okay so this is my second week of 7.30 am PP sessions at Covent Garden Good Vibes. I've got to tell you this is the only class that can make me get up that early to get there in time. If like me you aren't an NBE (natural born excerciser) then this is perfect! There are only up to 5 people in a class so the instructor can give you individual attention and whilst that means you can't hide in the class it's strangely fun, and just as you want to swear out loud, it's all over and you're into the massage part.
After class I'm clear headed, wide awake and full of energy but forget all that airy fairy stuff, trust me when I tell you my British West Indian bum has already started to lift in a week and that's saying something!

This was my first Power Plate Session! I had so much fun! It was challenging but not intimidating and I loved that it was a gentle impact workout. I felt like my whole body had been worked over but I wasn't dripping in sweat or short of breath. I felt fantastic after the class and was full of energy, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the instructor was very sweet and inspiring. I'm totally addicted!

What is great is that you can see results so quickly. And if I'm honest one of the major attractions is that a really thorough workout only takes 25 minutes! I hate the gym, it's so boring and at Good Vibes it's small classes, great music and an ever changing rota of trainers so you never get bored.

The workout is excellent and the best part is that it's super fast, a quick 25 min session then you can continue with your day. The staff and trainers are all very friendly and helpful, the studio itself is lovely - I especially like the mirrors - all in all a very nice experience that I would recommend to everyone!

I'm onto my fifth block of power plate sessions. You could say I have caught the bug. Maybe the vibrations affect my mood? I always feel more positive and energised after a session. My arms have never been so firm (still some way to go until I banish the bingo wings) but my sisters are starting to get very envious of my firming body. Most importantly I am feeling really strong and I certainly noticed the difference when walking in the mountains this summer.

Yes, I probably will be signing up for a sixth session. Who, me an addict?
