Small local beauty salon with really friendly staff. Was really pleased with my spray tan. It was my first spray tan but my therapist explained the treatment/ what I needed to do before, whilst and after the treatment well and put me at ease. Plus it was also very good value for money. I would go again.

Awful. Staff not that friendly. Two staff members were unprofessional in being veey critical about a cusfomer who had just left. Hardly any shellac colours to choose from. Plus my shellac manicure began to peel within hours of having it done. Only plus is that I jist paid £9 through living social deals. Would NEVER go back!

Very welcoming and therapist was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions that I had about the treatment. She really did put me at ease.

The only thing that could have been better was being given a leaflet explaining IPL for reference later on with FAQs, as you don't think of all of the questions then. Having said this, I left feeling reassured.

This visit was a disaster from start to finish, firstly my friend and I planned a two day pamper time away. We booked it together so there was no hiccups and we both new what we were doing. So when we turned up at glow to be told we had the wrong time did not go down well bearing in mind we had a tight schedule. We questioned it of course but they were adamant, so it was a quick snack instead of a relaxing lunch for us. When we went back again we were kept waiting but eventually taken upstairs to a dingy grubby looking area to have our fish pedicure. we were given a grubby well worn pair of slippers to put on to which both turned our noses up, the therapist was not very cheerful and certainly did not make us feel relaxed, having had this before I was aware of the do's and don't's and contraindications, she didn't advise us with any of them. She left us to 'enjoy' the experience then Ali (my friend) noticed a dead fish in her tank!! when the therapist came by we mentioned this to her and she said she had thought she had got them all out, to which she removed it and we then listened to the toilet being flushed! ....lovely! After that we then we were both having a microdermabrasion facial, to which there seemed to be some whispering as to who could do it and where as they seemed to have only one of us booked in! To cut a long and what could get even more boring story short, yes we both had the facials, we had to wait for each other, we both had different therapist doing different parts of it, so the door was opening and closing, so laid there in a dark room no knowing who was coming in next to take over.
I'd also like to add, if like me you struggle with mobility, walk with a stick etc it's not a good place to be, had I known I would have not booked here, the salon is on the first floor, then there was another flight of stairs up to the fish pedicure. Also to gain entrance to the salon you have to ring an intercom to which you were greeted with a grunt as if you were an inconvenience certainly not the welcome I had hoped for.
I think it's fair to say, I would not recommend this salon nor would we ever use it again. Therefore its a 'OH NO from us!

I had not visited the salon before - I was very pleased with the consultation. Good advice was given. The salon was well located and lovely and clean and tidy. There was a wide variety of other great treatments available such as spray tans, shellac, massages etc...

when i first went into the beauty therpy place i was a bit apprehensive but on my visit on the night off the treatment i was made very welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful and i had my treatment frist then my daughter had hers she was very scared but our therapist was really really good and very thoughtful as well. hemma an nakita

I went to glow beauty for minx toes&mini manicure I was really happy with both treatments the staff were very friendly&the salon lovely- I will definitely be going back&can highly recommend this salon.

I treated myself to Minx toe nails before a holiday. the voucher gave me a free mini manicure as well which i was able to upgrade to a full manicure with Shellac for an extra cost. The staff were very accommodating and let me upgrade my manicure even though this meant the therapist working a bit longer than she should have done. I have since returned back to Glow for two waxes and am goign back again in a couple of weeks for some more Shellac treatments

The therapist was keen to make sure she was thorough and didnt miss any places. The colour of the tan was good and not too orangey. I would definitely go again!

The therapist was friendly and knowlegable. The room was clean, warm, nice music, wasn't rushed and got the full 40 minute facial. Excellent microdermabrasion facial. Would return in the future if they had further offers. Easy location and parking a bonus too.
