I've walked past Glamour House Hair and Beauty a number of times and when I saw the Wahanda deal I jumped at the opportunity to purchase a £20 massage. The masseuse was very pleasant although the room was a little on the cold side and the massage could have been harder. Not sure I'll go again but it was worth £20!

I had a very pleasant experience at Galmour House. My therapist is a Greek lady who is very professional and friendly, she gave me a bespoke facial which helped soothing my skin immediately. She also kindly shared a lot of tips on how to improve skin conditions in daily life. I was very much appreciated her knowledge and consideration. Overall, I would like to recommend this salon.

So this venue is on High Holburn where the street numbers go up on ine side of the street but down on the other - confusing! However the salon is actually right outside one of the tube exits at Chancery Lane although I forget which one - sorry!
The male receptionist was a little abrupt so first impressions weren't great but then I met my therapist who was outstanding. I didn't get her name but she was petite and Spanish looking and sounding. I had booked in for the Elemis salt scrub and express pedi but there was confusion as they had me down for a hand treatment instead of teh scrub but the therapist took this in her stride and sorted it out so we could move to another room as a shower is required for this treatment.
The treatment is great as a very vigorous exfoliation which is perfect if you plan to fake tan or have a special event. The therapist was chatty and engaging and I felt like I was chatting to an old friend. The pedi was good too and impressive for an express treatment as it included cuticle work.
The spa itself is lovely downstairs - lots of lovely brands used - Elemis and OPI. There is a coffe bar and a sauna although my treatments did not include this and the vibe was relaxed.
Would definitely go back!

i am unable to comment on the actual salon as the reception staff were so rude when I called to try and rearrange my appointment I was unable to use my voucher, I was told because I had concelled at short notice I would not be able to use voucher. This was after the initial difficulty of trying to book the origional appointment as I was told there was limited times I could use my voucher, which is not very helpful when you work full time.
I would suggest the salon discuss this with Wahanda before putting any other offers on the site

Very good swedish massage and a very nice ambience at the spa. I didn't find the gym music too off-putting as other reviewers have suggested and liked the fact that the area was very clean. The staff were also very friendly when we arrived and helped to explain everything.

I went to have a brazilian wax and pedicure with a wahanda voucher.
My therapist was very friendly and put me at ease, but unfortunately I don't think she was particually skilled. I have been having brazilian waxes for nearly 5 years and I have never had one as painful as this. I felt bruised for quite a few days later.
I've never had a pedicure before so I have nothing to compare it to, but I again I found the filing a bit painful as the tips of my toes were filed along with the nails and it made it uncomfortable to walk afterwards. The foot massage bit was good though.
I won't be going back :(

Excellent value Wahanda offer for a £24 cut and finish. Friendly but business-like salon. Good Kerastase products. This is the best haircut I have had in years – I booked another one before leaving, which I have never done before. I highly recommend the stylist, Dorita, who was quietly efficient and kept checking I was happy with what she was doing.

Really needed a back massage so the timing was perfect. Glamour Hair and Beauty was the prefect location for me as it was just down the road from work. Elimis product was lovely and smelt great. Overall a very relaxing experience!

Overall, I really enjoyed the experience as the therapist was absolutely lovely and a good masseuse! The beauty room was impeccable, very relaxing and spacious. The therapist put on soothing music which was nice and relaxing. However, the staff at reception were quite rude and unpleasant. They should maybe re-evaluate their manners as they run a beauty/health salon where people come to relax not to be shouted at and stressed out. Otherwise, all in all a good experience as the therapist was great and so was the massage.

The person on the main desk at the hair salon upstairs when I arrived was not particularly welcoming and left me standing while she chatted on the phone. My therapist then came up and was very friendly. The beauty salon downstairs is nice and relaxing and my therapist was lovely but the massage was not what i would call a deep tissue massage, especially as I had asked for it to be firm. An ok massage but not great.
