Fusiom Spa Madrid 3.3 1 review

Great location and in close proximity to central parks in Madrid means that you can laze in the nearby park, soak up the local bars in the vicinity and sink some sangria in the sun, then disappear off the main drag into Fusiom. As soon as you walk in, you feel a weight lift off your shoulders. The range of spa treatments is considerable and four hand massages are available should you need that extra helping hand.

The assistants encourage you to change in the smart changing rooms and some treatment rooms have their own showers allowing you to re-charge and clean before lying down to enjoy the delights of the spa treatment.

The beauty and surprise of Fusiom is that they 'fuse' traditional orthodox massage techniques with other styles. The massage I had was a hot oil, sensual massage which was then followed by a slightly more aggressive, weight bearing Thai massage which initially took me quite by surprise but was very effective in relieving me of the recent days and months aches and strains.

Highly recommended. Try it. Not the cheapest treatments (from recollection, the massage treatment described above was around £70 and probably more now given the current euro exchange rate) but very worthwhile (especially given Fusiom's excellent location in Spain's cultural capital).
