The venue is very centrally located in Soho so easy to get to after work. I arrived early for my appointment and was offered a drink - I had a glass of water and a really good coffee!
I had booked the £39 Cut with a Senior Stylist - and started off getting my hair washed in the basins in the back. They are rather awkward - rather than having the attendant behind you washing your hair they stand next to your head and have to lean over you to clean your hair - I found it a bit uncomfortable and intimate but short of redesigning the place there isn't much to they can do...
I was then taken to Gavin and explained I wanted my longer hair cut off to just below my jaw...and I have to say he did a great job. He was chatty and entertaining (I am not usually one to chat to hairdressers) and explained what he was doing at each point. My hair is rather thin and when I have been to salons before it is usually the case that I get a cursory cut and told that that is the most that can be done with my hair. With Gavin, this was the complete opposite. He took time over the cut, measured my hair from each angle and took care to cut it all correctly. He gave me a fantastic cut and blow dried it and it looks amazing. The cut is so good that after washing my hair it falls really well with minimal styling...I will definitely be back!

I came here using a discount offer the salon were offering, I think I paid £37. It was just a haircut but my hairdresser (Alisha) was great. I told her how I'd lost my hair in my teens and have had a couple of bad haircuts recently, and she was sensitive to my needs, we did a consultation and she talked me through what she was going to do. I'm really happy with my haircut, it's a real improvement on the last few that I've had and I'm a lot happier with the style.
Alisha went one further, I started talking about colouring my hair and I voiced all of my concerns. I've wanted to do it for a while but am very nervous about it, given some bad past experiences. She explained different ways of colouring to address my nerves about roots, and put my mind at ease. I'm going in next week to get a half head done!

I had a blowdry at Fordham's as my usual spots were fully booked. The experience was relaxing and the stylist was fun to talk to but also concentrated on what I wanted. He thought my roots were grown out and didn't realise that I had an ombre colour which is a bit worrying for a stylist in Central London!
I will definitely be back.

I was getting ready for a special day out, and my hair was in a state of total disrepair. To be completely honest with you, the main reason I picked this venue was because it is so close to my office. I booked my appointment for later the same day and headed along to the salon. I was pleasantly surprised by my first impressions - I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, and given a really nice, strong coffee. I was seen by the stylist on time (which is important when you're getting your hair cut at lunch), and I felt that she really listened to what I wanted. She also made recommendations about the cut, and I was happy to accept her feedback. She took her time cutting my hair, and made sure that I was completely satisfied with my cut before I left the chair (sometimes I feel like hairdressers just want rid of you as soon as they've finished the blow dry, but that wasn't the case at all here.) I would definitely return to this salon in future.

In desperate need of a haircut I trawled Wahanda for Soho hairdressers, and after reading some of Fordham's glowing reviews thought I'd give them a whirl. As someone who's pretty fussy I came away pretty happy. The very friendly hairdresser asked a lot of the right questions and I felt like the cut & treatment was considered specifically for me and my hair. Would definitely recommend.

During my 5 Years of stay in London, I was never satisfied with any of the hair saloons I visited, but at Fordham Soho I was completely satisfied with the edgy & fresh hair style. I booked my appointment with Sean Fordham, he understood my requirements and was very friendly through my whole visit. He gave me perfect suggestions to style at home. I am sure, I will visit them again and again and will recommend anyone who is bored of their previous hair stylist and want a new season yet classic look.

With wahanda was a great deal. The hairstylist was very friendly, and advised on what's best in terms of haircut. Overall, the haircut was good, like I wanted - kept the length to the maximum but cut off all the dry ends. The blow dry was also very nice, felt like a new person afterwards.

Nice salon, easy to find and friendly welcoming staff. My hairdresser Lee was very friendly and I could tell he knew what he was doing. The cut was lovely, the blow dry looked great and the price was great. Will definitely be going back there again. :-)

Really lovely salon. I got upgraded to Gavin, who is one of the art directors - so I couldn't comment on how good the stylists were. He did a really lovely job, and I've been getting lots of compliments these last few days! Really refreshing after having a few dodgy haircuts in the last year. The staff I encountered were really friendly, and I'll certainly be coming back again.
